Natalie is awesome! – Natalie does great eyebrow waxes. The best in the city. I will wait for 2 weeks to see her! She will take what you naturally have an enhance it - instead of giving you what everyone else has.
Natalie is great with eyebrow waxing – I have been searching for someone who knows how to up keep my eyebrows and Natalie is great. They are always even, clean and just right, not to mention she is very friendly yet professional. The girls at the front desk are not professional or friendly though. Would def recommend Natalie but not a mani or pedi.
You Get What You Pay For – I've only been to In Spa once for a pedicure. The girl was a little chatty which I don't like. I like to go to a spa to relax rather then make small talk. All in all I had a nice time and the price is right.
Terrible customer service – I stopped in In Spa (Bell Square) to purchase a $100 gift certificate for a friend. The two girls sitting at the front desk were not friendly and acted as if I was an inconvenience. I would not go back for a service simply because of the rude staff. It did not leave me with a positive first impression.
It wasn't great... – I had scheduled a facial, manicure, and pedicure for my mother and I for her birthday. We had to wait for about 30 past our appt. before we were called back. It was the first time that we've been to this spa. It wasn't great. The facial was fair. The manicure and pedicure I could have done without. The manicurist for my mother was not very careful and was constantly leaving in the middle of the session to conversate with other worker. The overall experience was not very good. Will not be returning to this spa.
Pregnancy massage – I have had 2 pregnancy massages there & they were relaxing & wonderful. One was at Univ Village the other in Bel Square & both were great!!!!
Not all it's cracked up to be – I only tried In Spa once but wanted a pedicure. I found that the minimal lower leg massage using latex gloves didn't provide any relaxation, the 30 seconds of pumice stone scrubbing on my feet left me with no fewer callouses and the nail polish began to chip within days. I've gotten better pedicures at much cheaper rates, I was not impressed.
Cookie-cutter chain spa with a focus on retail brings massages to the mall masses. – The Scene
More like an Abercrombie & Fitch than an exclusive retreat, this spa does away with pretensions. Crisp white walls, track lighting and rows of shelves showcase products, with a handful of wicker chairs being one of the few nods to traditional spa ambience. In a room behind the retail area, rows of women prop up their feet for pedicures. Massages take place in dimly lit, pale-green rooms that remain mostly quiet. Brightly lit facial rooms have the feel of an upscale department store dressing room.
Massage therapists in khaki and polo shirts show their strength and skill with hour-long deep-tissue Swedish massages. The 30-minute tension reliever, which allows customers to remain clothed, is custom designed for stressed shoppers. Facials rely heavily on products, with as many as seven items applied in just less than an hour.
Massage, body treatments, facials, waxing, manicure/pedicure.
