DON'T DO BUSINESS WITH THEM!!!!In February 2013 my husband placed 2 orders with RGuns online. Upon reading reviews of them and their products he canceled both orders the NEXT day (the orders were placed after close of business).
All of the sudden with no communication or confirmation for 4 MONTHS my account was charged for these orders. After several phone calls and a few emails all with no response I am taking it up with my bank.
I just don’t understand how a company can stay in business when they conduct themselves in this manner. I have called and left messages and have not heard anything back. Emails have been sent and again no response was given. Their website claims that they are a DOD contractor and a member of “Fair Trade Group” you would think you were dealing with a reputable company.
I am now out $709 with no one to get answers from! I want my money back!
I wish like hell I would have did a bit of research concerning the reputation of RGUNS. I ordered a part back in Feb. and its not Apr 13 and I've heard nothing from them that there having a delay in shipping etc. I have tried to contact them which is impossible. The good thing is I only lost $100.00. The worst business I have ever dealt with. I hope their happy ripping of a 100% disabled veteran.
MIL-SPEC NOT. Be afraid...be very afraid. BCG's out of spec, Charging handle out of spec...Upper-Lower out of spec.
When closing the upper onto the lower... the detent pin holding back the buffer/sping doesn't collapse and gouges the buffer. Several trips back won't issue replacement..
Haven't fired 1 round yet..brand new.. I'm screwed
These guys have the worst customer service. First of all they lie about what they have in stock. Then they treat you like your an idiot when you want to cancel because of it. The email I got was typed in all caps: DID YOU NOT READ THE BIG RED BANNER. IT IS IN STOCK BUT WE ARE WEEKS BEHIND IN SHIPPING. THANKS FOR WASTING MY TIME. They haven't charged the 100 order cancelation fee they say they charge for items in stock. but if they do... I already warned them I would make a charge back through ym credit card company.
Please improve your reputation, I had no idea I was ordering from a company with the worst rep on the web.

How they stay in business is beyond me. Bought my upper from them 2 years ago. Owner was rude and seemed like he could care less to help me. Every time I've been there it takes 5 to 10 minutes for someone to come out from the back room to get service. When they do come out they almost seem annoyed that they have to deal with customers. Yesterday I called to see if they had a GG&G bipod in stock , since they advertise having them on the website. I was told by the owner they have it. I was in the south loop of chicago so before I made the long trip I wanted to be sure it was in stock. I didnt want to give them my business but they were the only place I could find that carries them. I show up and the owners brother comes out to help me. To my surprise he actually seemed like a nice guy and I said I called about the bipod. He said you must have talked to my brother, but we don't have any at the moment. He looked around for five minutes trying to see if they had one somewhere but could only find a Harris bipod. I didn't want a Harris they are ugly and a dime a dozen. I said that sucks because I made a long drive to get here and that's why I checked availability before making the drive.
I will NEVER give them any business again. Too bad for them because I also planned to put money down on a .308 the same day. Went to G.A.T. Guns right after and ordered my bipod, and put $600 down on my .308.
Bad Service (Online Order) – I needed a basic, nothing special AR Upper for my collection. After ordering from another company and waiting a week to find out it would be another 6 weeks I called "R Guns" to verify availability. The guy who answered said "yes, we have all uppers in stock". So I cancelled my order with the other company and ordered here. Even though it was $40 more, at least they had it in stock. I ordered Wednesday afternoon. I got a UPS Tracking number email Thursday. Great, I'd get it Monday, or so I thought. I kept checking UPS for tracking and nothing. Does not appear to be in UPS's hands. Monday - Nothing. Tuesday - Nothing - So I called. The girl that answered said they are behind and after looking up my order, assured me I would have it by Friday. So today (Wednesday), I called to check and would you believe, No Barrel! The guy had no idea when they will get them. He did offer another solution which was a different rifling. NOT what I want but it will do. As of tonight, it looks to have shipped and I should get it Friday. BOTTOM LINE: If you want to be lied to, want to pay more and not get what you want - Go to R Guns. I hope it works.
stay away from R-Guns – I bought a new ar-15 from day one nothing but problems it would cycle had to flip safty on and off to reset triger call r-guns they told we don't know bring it to a gun smith?

well had to spend more money to make it work the parts they used where crap they had to be replaced on my dime.
Ripoff Artist – Walked in at 4 Pm on a Friday. Told the guy I wanted a used Milsurp rifle to pick upo the next day for a shooting match on Sunday. Found one, bought it. Then the guy hands me my reciept and says "see you next week to pick it up". I asked what? I was getting it the next day!
He said Illinois has a 24 hour law, and they close at 3 on Saturdays. I said I am out of town the following week, would be at least 2 weeks before I could get it! I know this, I LIVE in Illinois! What I had no idea about was his Saturday hours!
I said I can have one shipped online cheaper and have it closer to home but wanted to support local business and could someone be there at 4. I was told NO!
I said, OK, Ill just return it now then. He said there is a 15% RESTOCKING fee! I said the rifle is SITTING right where it was when I bought it! Its ALREADY
STOCKED! He said too bad. I could come back later in the week or pay the money to return it. 5 minutes AFTER I bought it!
I informed him that I told him when I walked in that I needed the thing the next day! He couldnt tell me he closed 3 hours earlier than normal when I told him this?
I said, Ill be back for it. However, I have a few friends looking for Ar's and this will cost you alot more in lost sales than the handful of dollars he would get ripping me off. Nope. I could come back, or lose my 15% !
Tisi is THE OWNER! Not to mention I will NEVER buy a thing there as long as he owns the place. And believe me, I buy guns ALOT.
Customer service is not a concept there., the people are rude. 2 guys told my buddy they hated working there because of this guy. He told them to look around, and it sucks to have to work for a tyrant. NO wonder the guys behind the counter dont care. The owner doesnt care!
They lost my business for GOOD.
just like a used car dealer – i went in there to see about trading in or selling my weapon ,,,they offered me peanuts for what i had and then wanted to charge me full retail price for a used police trade in .. not sure what these guys are up to but i can tell you that i didnt like what i had experienced.
