Damn Good Time. Not, so clean, don't drink tap beers, only order what you know about and please, please only eat the burgers and wings. I've been there a couple of times for events when the drunk on the mic didn't make any sense, but I enjoyed the special anyways.
Disgusting. By far one of the worst taverns in Milwaukee. The place is dirty, the tap beer tastes horrible and was served in a plastic cup that you get at a house party. The service was so slow, rude, not to mention every thing was way over priced. At one point in the evening some drunk guy got on the microphone and started babbling something about shots, but was so wasted no one could under stand what he had just said. Of all the great places to go out in Milwaukee don't go here you will be seriously disappointed.
Gross. As a former employee of this dump, I can honestly say do not go there. I wouldn't even eat the food, and I had the ability to get it for free. All the booze is years upon years old, tap lines are never cleaned, they re-use disposible plastic cups, food is left out, frozen, thawed, re-frozen. The owners are shady, crabby people that sit at the end up the bar at get drunk the whole night and then drive home. "Hun can I get a bud light and a shot of black haus" ALL NIGHT LONG. Classy. They've been sued by everyone and their mom, paychecks bounce, no liquor distributors will even do business with them anymore, and it is an all around poorly run, dirty, disgusting place that needs to be shut down. If you MUST go, I'd recommend drinking bud light in bottles. Lord knows at least that stuff is new, because Todd goes through a case every night.
Friendly place. Maybe the bar manager had a bad day. I'm sure you've had one of those now and then. I've never experienced bad staff. They have always been friendly and fun. Just ask to play a game of dice and the tender will almost always be more than happy to toss the bones. They also have great food. So don't take the word of one person's review stop in and find out for yourself.
Not the best. This place has a fun atmosphere but terrible staff, the bar manager is a crabby old has been. If you are looking for cheap drinks and dont care if people are friendly its an alright place, otherwise pass
marquette bar. marquette university hangout. perfect college bar. long bar. cheap beer. drunk people everywhere. a few locals add to the mix. can't beat it.
