Keep driving, there are a lot of other choices – The manager is rude. The continental breakfast is sparsely stocked...not even bread for toast. There are only 4 chairs so you may have to stand to eat. The room was dirty and there was no hot water. No coffee in the room. There are several other options in this price range within half a mile.
Free coffee refills and budget rates make this motel tops with highway travelers. – In Short
The first Super 8 opened in Aberdeen, S.D., in 1974, charging $8.88 a night. Today, the national franchise, with its familiar red-and-yellow sign, still stands for dependable rooms at wallet-friendly prices. A staple for road-tripping families, truck drivers and tour groups, the motel offers complimentary morning coffee and continental breakfasts. Another perk for travelers: Super 8 travel cups may be refilled for free at any of the motel's locations.
A good place to hang your hat for the night! – The large, clean room with couch, table and chairs was a welcome sight after ten hours of driving. The internet worked fast and staff was couteous at all times. Everything about the hotel looked as if it was recently constructed so most things had a new feel to them. The continental breakfast was nothing to write home about but did consist of coffee, orange juice, milk, cereal, and a few choices of pre-packaged danish and mini donuts. I would certainly stay there again as the price compared with the amenities was worth the money I paid.
