Pleasant motel-style rooms enhanced with amazing views of nearby Yosemite Falls.. The Scene
With a shopping arcade, post office, amphitheater, swimming pool and tour desk, this lodge is like its own little town. Its claim to fame is being the property closest in the park to Yosemite Falls. Be sure to request a waterfall view when you book your stay.

The Details
Accommodations come in two styles. Standard rooms live up to their name, with plain white walls and basic motel room furniture. The larger lodge rooms have patios and dressing areas. The hotel is gradually remodeling, a process that will be completed in 2005, so some rooms are still a bit worn. TVs are deliberately not included in the amenity list, as guests are encouraged to focus on the natural surroundings.
