In Short – Camping out is by far the most common sleeping arrangement in Yosemite. Most campgrounds are located in Yosemite Valley, close to the park's most famous attractions: Yosemite Falls, El Capitan and Half Dome. Sites in these campgrounds tend to be very small and placed tightly together.
