Authentic PR Food. – Had the mofungo. Very good but WAY too much garlic. I could still taste the garlic two days later. Extensive menu. Friendly service. Nice decor. Clean. Will return again, but ask for less garlic.
My favorite Puerto Rican Food Restaurant – I have been many times at this Icon in the Puerto Rican community. The food has always be outstanding and the service vey good. They have a great selection and the food preparation is very good. Very traditional and fresh . Friends that I have taken there are always please of the delicious items the have selected. I love the mofongo con carne frita, pasteles, and las mistas.
The Best Puertorican Restaurant in Chicago! – La Bruquena is been part of the Puertorican area for about 16 years. The owner Zoraida Rivera and Roberto Tanon welcome their customers every evening with nice Puertorican old songs. The food is exellent and the menu have over 100 different plates to choose. If you want to have real Puertorican food and just wait a little longer while you enjoy the music. La Bruquena is for you.
