From the Pit – Yes, this venue can be a bit of an inconvenient location to get to, but honestly in Orlando it takes a long time to get anywhere!

I honestly liked that it was in the Universal City Walk. Though it was a bit crowded (as expected in the evening during the summer), I was able to have a good choice of places to eat and hang out before going to the venue before my concert.

I cannot review what it would be like to pay for a seat since I experienced my time there in the pit. The sound definitely sounded great when you're standing directly in front of the bands. I appreciated that this was a bit of a smaller venue, so that the AC could definitely be felt. Even with people pushing on me the entire time to get closer to the stage, I barely broke a sweat.

Overall a great experience!

Worst venue in Orlando – This place is majorly inconvenient because it is located inside the Universal Studios. To get in, you have to go through the whole "parking in a giant amusement park" thing, driving through parking lots until you are directed by the parking lot staff into the next open row designated for parking, then walking and standing in lines and walking and walking some more. Depending on how crowded the park is on the day of your concert, it may be anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour and a half between the time you drive your car through the park gates and the time you are standing at the doors to the venue.

Once there, you will be efficiently (if not always politely) directed to your seat (or into the large pit). The venue is not designed with music lovers in mind. The acoustics are terrible and it's practically impossible to have a spot from where you can comfortably SEE the band, no matter how much you pay.

Great atmosphere, too little time to savour – Food was rushed to table, as we went to eat photographer more interested in selling his photos taken 10 minutes ago, As such a large place felt as if we were being rushed over our meal. If it wasn't for the displays and interest of the place....i could have been in macdonalds on I-Drive!!!

Wonderful Place – Hard Rock is known for its collection of rock and roll memorabilia. The cafes solicit donations of music memorabilia but also purchase a number of items at auctions around the world, including autographed guitars, outfits from world tours and rare photographs are often to be found mounted on cafe walls. The collection began in 1979 with the gift of an un-signed guitar (a Red Fender Lead II) from Eric Clapton, who was a regular at the first restaurant in London. This prompted Pete Townshend of The Who to give one of his guitars, also un-signed with the note "Mine's as good as his! Love, Pete.

The Hard Rock Cafe is within a short walking distance from the hotel. There’s something for all appetites at the Hard Rock Cafe. Offering quality, classic American food in a unique, high-energy, music memorabilia-packed atmosphere.

Great Burger & Chocolate Brownie – Fun place, everyone that works there seems to be having fun. I had the Legend BIg Cheese burger & it was HUGE, like it was 10 ounces, Juicy & very good. It was cooked to Medium the way I like it. Fries were hot & I couldn't eat it all.

We shared a hot fudge brownie for dessert. The servers said the brownie is made in house & it was served warm with Haagen Daz Ice cream & thick hot fudge sauce. To die for. Enough food if you have a big appetite.

I would go back but it's a bit expensive vs the local places. Everyone was nice & friendly to us.

We'll be back again.

Worship rock legends while dining on familiar American favorites. – In Short
Walls covered with decades of Top-40 memorabilia, rock songs blaring in the background and an all-American menu typify this music-themed restaurant. The kitchen churns out group-friendly appetizers like nachos and Southern staples like barbecue ribs and chicken. Burgers are served with hefty sides of fries and the signature pulled-pork sandwich is topped with vinegar barbecue sauce. The gift shop sells branded items like T-shirts, shot glasses and hats.

World-Class Entertainment in a World-Class Vennue – I am a very regular guest at this establishment. The staff are extraordinarily courteous, always a smile or a wave--and not just from the bartenders. The security, the box office, the bar backs, the ushers (when appropriate) are all terrific!

They book top notch entertainment. I've seen everyone from KoRn to Tom Jones in this venue, and have never been disappointed by the talent. The in-house production (sound and lighting) are world-class and the facility is acoustically brilliant. (For those who really care, there are a few "sweet spots" and they are NOT near the soundboard! Walk around a bit, look at the curve of the walls, and you'll figure them out.)

The bathrooms are spotless and attended, drink prices are on par with this sort of venue, and the snack bar (pizza, burgers, hot dogs, pretzels, etc.) is usually open, although they do sometimes run out of food, so order early. Unfortunately the menu from the Hard Rock restaurant isn't available in the live music venue--even in a limited capacity.) In general the facility is very, very clean--it's by far the cleanest live music facility in Central Florida, and one of the top five cleanest that I've been in out of the hundreds I've visited all over North America.

The only major disadvantage to this facility it's location. Because it's on the Universal Studios property, it is a very, very long walk from the parking deck to the venue. It can be up to about a mile depending on where you can find a parking space. Also if you want to arrive before 6:00 pm so you can have dinner someplace before the show, you've got to pay $12 to park. Same thing with seeing a show on an evening that Universal is running a special event. Unfortunately the security and attraction folks employed by Universal aren't nearly as congenial as those at Hard Rock Live. (Location and it's associated pluses and minuses is where the competing House of Blues has it hands down over Hard Rock Live.)

Service was excellent and ambience was fun. – A classic tourist trap but fun. Service was excellent and a lot to look at. the only drawback was the food was "so-so" at best and a little overpriced.
