too many other good places to eat – Food was mediocre at best; the owner was extremely rude and wait staff was never available.
avoid – IF you find a waitress that isnt interested in telling you her life story or some othe rtale of boredom she may serve you in her own good time. Then the owner will charge you for the ice in your drink when you order something on the rocks. Come on 0.50 for frozen water per drink. Cold food slow service rude staff pass on this place.
Best Raw Oysters I Have Had In a Long Time! – No wait, easy parking, fair prices & good bar atmosphere with plenty of nice locals. Best and biggest raw oysters I have had in a long time. I was in town for business and ended up going back a second night to have oysters again.
Wonderful Seafood and Great Live Bands – The atmosphere is great. You can watch the boats go by as you have dinner. Chat with the locals and eat some great food. Listen to live music downstairs after dinner. I highly recommend trying it.
Come-as-you-are waterfront hangout for cold beer, spicy seafood, passing boats and a sublime sunset. – The Scene
Seabrook's hidden gem for fresh seafood and cold beer, without the hustle and noise of the nearby corporate-owned and -operated Kemah Boardwalk. Upstairs, locals congregate at the bar, watching sports and sipping bloody marys with house-made pepper vodka. Tables on the outside decks go fast on sunny days as folks linger for fresh breezes, lively conversation and boat watching. The waitstaff (mostly young folks from the area) is friendly and efficient.
Expect a solid menu of fried seafood and Cajun dishes. Start with the creamy Creole crab dip served with tortilla chips. Seasonal seafood selections include fresh fish, shrimp, blue crabs and live crawfish, served steaming hot and spiced to perfection. Also popular are the calamari, crabcakes and the shrimp sampler platter, with bacon-wrapped, boiled, fried, grilled and stuffed varieties. Burgers and po-boys round out the offerings. Opt for the can't-miss crispy onion rings on the side.
Great food – The menu is great, prices are reasonable. None of the traffic hassles, always a place to park. No train or ferris wheel. That's okay, I'm here to eat, if I want to ride a ride, I would have gone to Astroworld.
Calamari with Tequila Lime sauce is the best.
