Nice. Fantastic cocktail menu - try their energy drink cocktails. The service is great without fail and no matter how crowded. Surrounded by local bars Shorty's is very unusual for the area with the nice decor, huge drink selection, and great music. They are a bit more expensive than their neighbors but it is well worth it and the crowd is not at all the normal corner bar crowd. They do not open until 8, and parking can be a little tough on weekends but not too bad. Can be crowded but not always and not overly.

With a Jetsons-like twist, this outwardly nondescript watering hole combines kitsch with a post-modern edge.. In Short
Cushy vinyl chairs with a Rat Pack-era flair are arranged into intimate conversation nooks against blushing burgundy walls. An antique soda cooler is converted into a high-tech art installation by the atmospheric addition of four, silent DVD-playing TVs behind its glass front. The eclectic, but mostly local, crowd sits at buffed stainless steel tables or gathers around the pool table, sipping specialty martinis, like the appletini or the Key lime martini.
