Fast delivery, I got a bucket less than 5 hours after signing up which surprised me. We moved from Grand Rapids to the Rockford area and found them to be the best price after calling 4 to 6 different companies. Incredibly fast service if you ask me.
We had been with this trash removal service for more than 15 years and the service was always great. Only one or two missed pickups and it was always resolved cheerfully regardless whether it was our error or theirs. But then, our trash was not picked up on the first pickup date after Christmas. I called and left a message and left my phone number and address etc. , but no one returned my call. The following week we put the trash out again, but apparently we put it out on the wrong day following the New Year holiday. When my wife called to find out what the problem was, the spokesperson was extremely rude and informed my wife that they had video proof that the trash was not at the curb after New Years. We agreed that was true, and that was our error, but the previous week was their error. The woman that she was talking to did not care about that, and only responded "the pickup date for our area had already passed for that week and they were not going to pick it up."
I was in the hospital for an emergency surgery, so subsequent calls were made by my daughters to resolve the issue. This same spokeswoman (she claims to be the Manager) responded with extreme rudeness and irrational responses and made no attempt to resolve anything. The last conversation with her and my daughter ended with the "manager" telling my daughter that she was going to "call the police on her" because she had informed her that she was going give Bluewater a poor customer service review. Wow.. The only thing I can figure is they must have changed their spokesperson/manager or she is having some severe personality issues. She informed us that Bluewater will be picking up their trash receptacle. We'll, all I can hope for at this point is, that they don't dump the contents of the bin out on the roadside along with the extra bags of trash that were accumulated in the two weeks of missed pickups.....
I have had them for about 5 years now give or take. We have been very pleased. Great at fixing my cart when a wheel broke off the same exact week I called. I highly recommend them.
have just started with them this past month. First week not picked up because I did not set it by the street correctly. second week okay,
Then this week again not picked up and it was set out in the proper way. sort of frustrating, playing phone tag with the company, trying to get this settled.
I have lived in Conklin area for many years. I enjoy the services provided. It's easy and fast for me to put my trash out to the curb every Friday. I have recommended them to several neighbors around our area. Cheaper services with amazing quality and care.
Great Service- No Complaints – We have used Blue Water for over a year now, on the recommendation of a family member. We love their service and have no complaints.
They have picked up extra bags we had, and didn't charge us extra. The garbage men who come to our home each week are always very nice and wave and say hello.
There were a few times that we've forgotten to send in the payments, or didn't have enough money- and as long as we called and communicated with them, they were always willing to work with us.
I recommend them to everyone I meet who is looking at new/changing their garbage service.
They helped us out in our time of need – We had a sudden family death that was very unexpected. I "cannot" thank this company enough for lowering our monthly payment (as we are on a very tight budget now) and letting me delay a payment from all the commotion. We were very thankful for this help. It touched our hearts.
Mean people! – I had a very similar experience to TSEY. Only instead of me placing a call I received a call from a very angry woman. She informed me that this was my final notice and that if they did not have their money by the following day my account would be sent to collections. Mind you this was one day before Memorial Day weekend.
Also, this was my first contact with the company. I was told that they were the only garbage pickup company in my village and that there was some form of $500 fee for trying to bring someone else in.
Overall the woman made me feel trapped and that she didn't need to treat me as a customer because I had no other options. All in all terrible customer service
Amazing prices and great service! – I have been a loyal customer to Blue Water for 15 + years. Such amazing customer service and the most amazing prices for waste removal around. My family has really appreciated the hard work this company has provided for our family.. I find it quite funny to read another review that is also posted on this same site. It clearly states on your bills if not paid by a certain date service can be interrupted. Dont let people like that bring you down by those negative thoughts.. if you stopped them it was obviously for not paying. Keep up the good work. There is always one in every crowd that tries to bring the good ones down. Thanks guys!
HORRIBLE Customer Care! – I recently moved into a new home and when doing so found a cheap local garbage removal service, Blue Water Sanitation. Upon receiving my first statement I mailed them a check for the amount due to the P.O. Box address on the front of their 'postcard' billing statement.
Two weeks later, my garbage was not picked up on its scheduled date. Upon calling Blue Water Sanitation to inquire about why my garbage was not removed as scheduled, I was met on the other end of the line by a woman who was extremely rude. She informed me that I never paid my bill and that they "dont pick up trash for people who dont pay." I attempted to expain to her that I had in fact paid my bill and that there must be some mistake, but she was unwilling to hear me at all. She proceded to call me a liar, and stated that "they believe I never sent payment." ( I would like to remind you at this point, that I have never done business with this company prior to this, and there was no grounds for them to place this sort of judgment.)
At the end of our conversation I informed the receptionist for Blue Water that I would be seeking other removal services, and she rudly stated that they are contracted with the village I live in and that I cannot choose another service.
Bottom line, of course this company has to contract with local offices, if they didnt they would never get any business. They are rude, and unprofessional. Had I been aware that the check I sent was not received, this situation could have been taken care of prior to my trash not being picked up as scheduled. I got no letter or phone call to state my check was not received, and to top it off was called a liar when I tried to come to a solution with them. Find a different removal company! I thought using a cheap local company would be a good way to save a few bucks. I guess at the end of the day..... You get what you pay for!
