Sophisticated clientele pose over haute French cuisine at this high-brow Scottsdale bistro. – In Short
The zinc-top bar, cordial service and rows of books on European travel and cuisine complement a mature and refined clientele. Other touches like peppy techno music and imported patio tiles from across the pond add to the swank. The menu is prepared by executive chef and co-owner Matt Carter, a master of French fundamentals such as crepes and crème fraiche. Try buttery gnocchi with truffles, and for dessert, indulge in the chocolate souffle kissed with Grand Marnier.

Very Romantic – Try a "Kir with a twist" and order the Guyuere Cheese Fondue. I liked the bread with it

better than what they served with it. The candles and plants really make a wonderful

setting for a casual afternoon lunch. Its different and can be very romantic. Loved it and

will go back......

A Waste Of Time & Money – One more snooty Scottsdale establishment that has nothing to offer but a good location.

The food was Horrible! The service was Horrible! The Owner was more interested in his plastic little girl friends at the bar, than listening to, or accomodating his patrons.

Home Sick for Napa – Living in the valley of the sun does not lend itself to weekend trips to Napa or the French countryside. Zinc Bistro offers a delightful alternative with it's familiar French wine country atmosphere, incredible menu and enjoyable wine list even absent of my favorite Napa vintages. Take your time and linger over every bite and sip. It takes very little imagination to be swept away to a wonderful sensory experience. When it's time to leave returning to your car is almost a culture shock. Be sure to inquire as to the origin of the tile work at the entrance. the story just makes the experience that much more fun.
