Reviews for Fear Farm

Fun for Halloween! – This year Fear Farm added a fifth haunted house to their collection known as Decimation. The new house was described as an extreme fright and it was not intended for the weak of heart. There was an eight dollar fee per person to get into the house. The line was long and filled with younger teenagers who behaved obnoxiously. Honestly, the people who behaved obnoxiously were the worst part about Fear Farm aside from the high prices. Thankfully, the line moved quickly and people were put into groups to enter into the house.

Right before entering the house the groups had to wait outside for somebody to come inform them about the “situation.” Minutes later a woman dressed in army fatigues came out of the house and told us we were entering a site where a group of soldiers went missing. She told us hopefully we would discover what truly happened to them.

The house was dark and we were immediately greeted by a gruesome scene of a mutant eating a human laying on a table. After getting through the blood spattered room we went through a doorway that led us outside. We had to crawl through small tunnels guarded by mutants. Without warning my boyfriend and I fell into a large ball pit. I received small scrapes and had a hard time getting out of the pit, but I think that only added to the fun. The rest of the scenes involved mostly mutants and some soldiers who looked like zombies. A normal looking soldier yelled for us to hurry and not let the mutants get us. As we were leaving the house there were some zombie soldiers chasing us into narrow pathways.

All of the houses at Fear Farm were great this year, but Decimation was hands down the best. They did a great job at building up the story of the house and they had great actors to support it. Overall, I was very happy with my experience at Fear Farm this year. I will most definitely be celebrating my Halloween there again next year.
