The Best Rolls Ever!!!. I have had rolls at many places in western Washington, and this is the best restaurant around for rolls!

The selection is plentiful, the food is beautifully prepared and presented! The service is excellent! The rolls are tasty and priced reasonably.

I patronize this restaurant for my Anniversary, my birthday, and any other day I have time to travel from Puyallup to Bellevue!

It has always been worth the trip! Very few restaurants can boast that I have never had a disappointing meal there, this one can. That's saying a lot as I'm a very discriminating diner.

It's always clean, always brightly lit and the food is always fresh and gorgeous.

#52 House Special #72 Volcano the Super Dragon!

Try them all!!!!

Great sushi, don't expect ambience. My family loves the sushi every time we go there. Very reasonable prices, large amounts of food. They have a large menu to satisfy everyone's palate. Is definitely a hole-in-the-wall type of place - don't expect wonderful service or atmosphere, but go there for the sushi!

Great Sushi, Great selection, Great Service!. I love the Sushi in this place. I've been going here for over 2 years now and usually go in anytime I find myself on the east side and hungry! The BSC, Red Dragon and Spicy Bulgogi rolls are my personal favorites. Service has always been excellent when I've been there and the rolls are generally prepared quickly, considering the BSC needs extra preparation time. I like the free tea too.

Great for last minute neighborhood sushi. i was so thankful when i found this place because i was so tired of sushi land. Sushi is fresh and good. Menu is on the longer side. Free tea also.

tends to get very crowded at lunch time.

Menu was not dizzying. "You must be shisshin' me!" I am an inventive roll lover and I was surprised that I have never came across this place before. Tucked under a condo complex on a T-intersection across the street from Bellevue Library, sits this no frills sushi joint with a lunch spot like setting. Complementary green tea? Check. Dizzying menu? Upon first glance. Some rolls are clearly "different", while some were just mild variations others. I ordered the Geisha roll, Bulgogi roll, Seattle roll, Beebimbop Roll, etc. The Seattle and Geisha are safe bets, but the Bulgogi came out a little on the dry side. The Beebimbop was a pleasant surprise, but the meat could have been moister also. I guess I can't complain when most of the rolls were about 6.50. I'm used to paying 10.00 or 12.00.

Final thoughts: Nowhere near Mashiko's quality, but at half the price you'll sleep easier. Another spot to quickly satisfy a sushi jones.

Different but great Sushi!. Still my favourite Sushi in the Seattle area. I order the Red Dragon and BSC every time I go there, both are excellent, and are consistently good, no matter when we have gone there. This may not be the best looking or most comfortable restaurant, but I don't go there for the decor or to relax, I go there for the food, and have not yet been disappointed.

I've never had a problem with service either.

Terrible Service. Not recommended.

The host of the restaurant does not care about the clients, totally ignores them.

Go to another Japanese place with a real Japanese hospitality.

Fresh fish and unique rolls. I have been going to this place for about 2 years and they have not disappointed me yet. I have tried a lot of different rolls and every one of them came out excellent. My favorite there is the seared salmon.

Traditional and Unique. While the miso leaves a lot to be desired (tastes like instant), the sushi is wonderful.

It's the 2nd best sushi restaurant I've been to outside of Japan. Even my 79 year old traditional Japanese mother loved it...and she's impossible to please.

The original sauces they've added to the traditional rolls are quite tasty...and the heated rolls bring a whole new sensation to the sushi experience.

However, it is different. So if you want the same old same old...go to Benihana's. If you want your food "right now"...go to McDonalds. But if you want to combine traditional with unique and bring your tastebuds back to life...go to Rolls and Rolls Plus Sushi.

Tradition and oddities among the 101 rolls at this Bellevue eatery.. The Scene
Wedged into a corner spot below some condos near downtown Bellevue, the place has the clean, uncluttered look of a strip-mall restaurant. The few wooden tables are, more likely than not, occupied by lone diners quietly nibbling on sushi or sashimi. Sushi chefs stand at attention behind the counter, though the restaurant isn't quite big enough to have sushi-bar seating.

The Food
Sushi traditionalists might turn up their noses, but others will be intrigued by what is often an odd fusion of flavors. Sushi rolls here feature the most unlikely ingredients: chocolate; corned beef and sauerkraut; pistachios and cream cheese; even peanut butter and celery. Innovations that work include the Dynamite--a warm seafood and spicy mayonnaise mixture spread over California rolls to create a messy, filling sushi casserole. With 101 rolls plus good sashimi, there's plenty to entice children, connoisseurs and sushi amateurs.
