This award-winning restaurant chain is known primarily for its baby back ribs, but through the 30-plus years since its flagship location opened in North Miami, the family-friendly menu has expanded to include barbequed chicken, char-grilled steaks, burgers, pasta, seafood and salads. All ribs are served with one of the accompanying sauces (Original, Carolina Honeys, Blue Ridge Smokies, Red Hots, or Honey-Chipotle), and two sides like coleslaw, fries, or a baked potato.
discriminatory service. The food is OK, but the waitresses sure need more training. They seem to only be friendly to their own heritage (Latino) and cold towards Asian customers.
Ribs and chicken are very good. Been to various Tony Roma's locations, been to this one a few times. Had a limited-time offer of unlimited ribs & chicken. The Carolina Honey baby back ribs are sweet and tender. The roasted chicken (I had a dark quarter) with Carolina Honey sauce was as moist as a roasted chicken could possibly be. Had cole slaw, BBQ beans on the side. Great food; moderately priced (take advantage of the specials when you can for a better value). Service was fine. Restrooms and private banquet area are upstairs, bar is downstairs, towards a corner. Parking is limited in this downtown district, particularly on weekends.
