best place to take friends.
I have been here on 5 occasions, for lunch and dinner. Having been in the restaurant industry for 16 years, I have only a handful of places in Nashville (and now Murfreesboro) that I consider supurb. Each experience was top-notch. The creative specials, like Asian-crusted Sea Bass, were exceptional. The Calamari appetizer is the best I've had at any restaurant in the US. I really enjoyed the new patio on my last visit, where I had Cakebread Chardonnay with the grilled Halibut, and am impressed with their extensive wine list. My three friends all said they would visit again soon. Glad to have a chic yet comfortable destination when I visit "the Boro".

Good, for Murfreesboro.
This place is good for Murfreesboro but inconsistent. I've had the same thing on different ocassions and it was prepared quite differently. Portions are small and of generally good quality. A bit overpriced. The service was slow everytime I've been there. If you're lucky and not in a hurry, you'll catch John Prince, an amazing Jazz Guitarist sometimes there on the weekends. It's probably Murfreesboro's best restaurant, but that's not saying too much.

Excellent Dining.
We went to B. McNeel's looking for a top notch dinner, and that was exactly what we found. The resturaunt is definitely worth every penny from the appetizers to the dessert!!
