Great Bar a Nice Skew from the Rest – Overall a great experience. Nice service, relaxed atmosphere and good selection of wine. A perfect place to hangout after a long days work or kick back with a few friends
Finally!! – This indoor/outdoor wine bar is unpretentious, funky, laid back and well priced. The food is simple yet tasty. The wine selection is excellent. It's a great place to unwind and enjoy the company of a friend or loved one.
Good cheap wine and munchies – Parking is a little difficult in the massive parking structure, but once you get there and start undwinding, it's all good. I would reccommend going on a weeknight or for happy hour (good happy hour deals). I went on a Friday night once and it was too loud and crowded. Get a flight of red or white wines and a cheese plate or hummus...yummy!
Great atmosphere – I love the atmosphere of this place. It's cozy in the back rooms and comfortable in the patio area. (good for smokers) The bathroom is pretty interesting. It's a great place to lounge with friends while sipping on some wine. Their menu is pretty limited, but I'd recommend the chicken panini with hummus---and of course, cheese and crackers go well with wine too. The service isn't bad. It gets crowded later in the night. So go early to ensure seating, especially for a large group.
This sleek alternative to the Old Town scene is as hip and mellow as the wines served. – The Scene
Bodega sits in a quiet corner of the Paseo Colorado mall. The lofty, industrial-chic room spills onto the patio through floor-to-ceiling glass doors. Low lights and candles, tall tables, a back-lit bar--exactly the kind of place for swank sipsters to swirl and chat, more interested in good company and wine than a hot scene. House music adds ambience, but doesn't inhibit conversation. A back room with comfy couches is perfect for lounging.
Demystifying wine for the masses, the eclectic wine list spans the globe, from California's Central coast to New Zealand, France and Italy. Order by bottle, carafe or glass and ask a server for background--they're usually right on the mark. To nosh, share a gourmet pizza with arugula, prosciutto and chevre, or an assorted cheese plate with crackers and fresh fruit.
Fascinating Place – This is a great place to kill time, good wines, good food for eating with the wines. The owners are great guys who work hard to keep up with their customers needs. I enjoy going there alone or with friends.
Wine for the rest of us – I usually get turned off by wine bars and their usual pretension, but this place is different. The atmosphere is New York industrial, they don't use regular wine glases, the music is more KCRW than classical, and the staff is young and friendly. Highly recommended. And make sure to check out the cool bathrooms!
SERVICE – Not a bad location. The only thing going for them is their food! They need to work on their service and train their employees. I was a regular customer till recently because their wait staff has no clue what he or she is doing. The owners stand around. while they should be helping their staff. Their prices are ridiculous on their wine!!! The selection of wine could be a lot better. Their menu is miss quoted. They charge for a FULL CRAFT but when they bring it to the table it's a HALF CRAFT!!!
Best place in El Paseo – Nice atmosphere, good music... a great place to enjoy a glass of wine and a good conversation. The only bummer is that they close the patio early. Overall, it's a nice wine bar where a lot of the Paseo residents hang out.
Hidden treasure – Half indoors, half outdoors this modern and 'industrial' hangout is a great hideaway. With a mixture of couches and tables, anyone can find a comfortable seat. Smoking is allowed on the outdoor patio. Garage parking is validated.
