Good food, but overpriced – The food and the service were fine, and would probably lean on the side of very good. I had the fillet with the fleming's potatoes. The steak was very good, and cooked the way I requested. The potatoes were good, although I prefer less creamy alternatives. Really the only complaint is the prices. I think its way too high. There are plenty of very good steakhouses at much more reasonable prices.
Just OK, a little disappointed – This was our second experience at this restaurant, and we've also dined at the Scottsdale location. For the price, we were a little disappointed. A filet mignon at this quality of a restaurant should be totally free of any fat. The specialty salad which advertised "seasonal greens" was mostly iceberg lettuce. Although the service was good, and it was a fun occasion, we'll have to think twice about coming back. It definitely didn't live up to the reputation on this visit
Prime beef, a comfortable atmosphere and an extensive, user-friendly wine list are the signatures of this upscale steakhouse. – In Short
With a decor of dark wood, leather upholstery and soft lighting, this clubby steakhouse has a warm, upscale feel. The menu's focus is prime beef (aged up to four weeks), from bone-in rib eye and filet mignon to New York strip drizzled with bearnaise sauce. Classic seafood offerings include lobster tails, steamed crab legs and wild Alaskan salmon; sides, served a la carte, include baked potato and chipotle mac and cheese.
Best Steak Around!!! – I just went to this place tonight for dinner and let me tell you it was amazing. A friend recommended it for me and I made sure to bring him something back. We had a party of four and three of us got steaks the last went with the salmon. All of which were amazing, wayyy above par. It was pricey, about 35 dollars for a sixteen ounce steak and around 8 for sides. We didnt try the wine list but it had over 100. To wrap it all up I highley recommend this place. Great service beautiful setting and even better food.
Best STEAK Anywhere, great service – My wife and are we on vacation and made a reservation here. We were asked if we were celebrating a special occasion. In fact we were, our Anniversary.
Upon arrival we were promptly seated. We both ordered steak as a main course, which was cooked to perfection and awesome. We had cheddar jalapeno scalloped potatoes that were excellent as well.
As we were driving we also each only had a single glass of wine. Recommended by the waitress, both were very very good.
Upon completion of dinner the waitress also served us a complimentary chocolate lava cake for dessert, to help us celebrate this occasion. Very nice touch.
We can't wait to go back to Phoenix, just to dine at this restaurant again. A little expensive, but worth every penny.
Great Steak! – I have been to many steak houses (Mastro's, Cityhall, Capital Grille, Ruth Chris), and Fleming's has to be the best steak house I have been to in Arizona. The steak is of great quality with just the perfect amount of seasonings. The chefs cook the steak to perfection. Like many of the steak houses, the rest of the menu is pretty much identical to most steak restaurants, but when it comes down to the main attraction (the steak) they are the best around.
