Great place to eat,drink and watch sports. I have been a normal their for about a year and love the staff,drinks,food and the enviorment. I am a college student with children from my previous marriage and decided it would be nice to have a fun job. I work their now and have to state that the place has great service. And quality food now and before when i was a normal with my fiancee'. It's a fun place to hang out and be yourself.The asiago Chicken entree is the best. Their mudslides are out of this world. Before I started working their I always had great customer service, alot of smiles from staff and the manager was always nice to my fiancee' and I. IT IS A GREAT PLACE TO HAVE FUN AND EAT...ALSO DRINK!!!

Avoid- BAD Serivce- just ok food. Ok, so in the area, there are alot of great food choices- DO NOT go to Joe Kools= it is everything but Kool. Splurge the 43cents and drive a 1mile a go to a better restaurant, you will thank me.

I went with a few co-workers and we just ran across it and thought we would check out the restaurant. Honestly at first it seemed it might me a good experience. The atmosphere was a cute energetic and the prices were extremely reasonable but I surely paid for it with the AWEFUL service. When we walked in, no welcome, hi, hey, hello- very unwelcoming. O well we moved on maybe the hostess was having a bad day. So we ordered a appetizer then my dinner entree and wasn?t I pleased. The appetizer was great my entree was not. I never return food, but I decided to speak to our waitress, Trish, to see my options. I wanted to see if I could maybe get another without te peppers, I was not demanding, I simply asked her, what can she do about it. She became really rude and abrasive stating she cannot do anything and didn?t provide me with options. I was really shocked. People in the restaurant business mostly understand that they are in CUSTOMER SERVICE. When it came time for the check, our waitress Trish quickly put her smile on to insure a reasonable tip. Reminder- the job is to provide, me the customer with service, my food. O well I am over it but was quite shocked on how awful the waitress and the manger handled the situation and how unwelcoming the staff are and the food wasn?t anything to write home about-

DO NOT GO HERE, go ANYwhere else!

FOUL food and lame service. The place smells like an ash tray left at the bottom dirty diaper, the service was AWEFUL, the food was close to aweful as one could get .

The manager, he was a total tool bag, a real slimeball. I would Never go back to this place, I wouldn't call it a resturant because I wouldn't give my dogs this food. It's like every loser on the planet either works there or hangs out.

Built to look like a turn-of-the-century factory, Joe Kool's is filled with Detroit memorabilia. Interesting wall markings and portraits are blended perfectly with Christmas lights and a huge American flag to create an offbeat decor. The fare at Joe Kool's is surprisingly good. The Southwestern egg rolls are a blend of spicy chicken, corn, avocado, black beans and jack cheese, while the Thai chicken stir-fry is a zesty treat, complete with fresh veggies that hold their crunch throughout.
