Shields Troy. Stick totally to Pizza here . The rest of the menu is totally bland tasting not even equal to a corner coney Island

Great Deep Dish. Great pizza! You can tell they use only the best ingredients. This is not your typical fast food deep dish, this is something special!

Is this Pizza?. I know this pizza is a Detroit favorite and I don't want to insult people. But really, Pizza? This is stuff that comes out of a rectangualr pan after all. Has anyone who has been to Italy ever had a rectangular Pizza that came out of pan while there? Maybe if there was a Chicago Pizza place there or a Pizza Hut... I like whatever it is they serve every once in a while, but I find this stuff bready, a little bit greasy and not really Pizza. Sorry, but while this might be a local favorite, it just is not the real deal.

Service & food. Worst bartender I have ever had named Colleen. Pizza was ok, nothing special. She made the whole evening miserable with her poor attitude. She was rude to my girlfriend and was not attentive.

Good Lunch Menue. Had a great lunch at Shields with good service. The pizza is one of the best around. I would recommend Shields for their lunch specials.

One of the best pizza stops anywhere!. Shields in Troy is a tradition. The pizza is fabulous. Thick and doughey, extra sauce, absolutely wonderful! The bar has many drink selections that wont break the bank, while the crowd and atmosphere is subdued. Smoking and non smoking sections are a decent size. Try the breadsticks too!

Addicting. I'm addicted to the antipasto salad. I have it once a week. The pizza and sandwiches are great, too. I like the atmosphere, kind of bar-like. Carry-out is great, too - still burning hot by the time I get home.

User review by iamkrusty. The Spinach & Fresh Roasted Garlic pizza could very well be the best Pizza in the Country. However, I must warn you that once you have had it, it gets into your blood and becomes highly addictive. No one I know has ever been disappointed with that Particular pizza.

Best Pizza, Friendly Staff. Best pizza in town...Not usually crowded. Wait staff is nice, if they know you, and you can't beat the Monday Night Football specials! Check it out!
