Tips for Market Inn Restaurant
An old favorite. Superb and out of the way. The Thursday through Sunday groups will enjoy great jazz entertainment. The food is very good and the service excellent. Ask for AJ as your waiter.
seafood the old-fashioned way. Market Inn is one of those secrets you want to keep. It sits all alone behind some high-rises, but for the people who find it, it's an experience. The decor is straight out of -- I don't know, the 50s, 60s, or 70s -- but the food is great, the service is terrific and you can't beat the price. Great place to go for reasonably priced seafood.
A great place to eat. Food was wonderful; especially the "She Crab Soup." Excellent for that date; or for a group for lunch or dinner. The Atmosphere is excellent, as well as the service. Parking was not a problem either, and that is a plus in DC.
LONG TIME FAN OF MARKET INN. I LOVE THE MARKET INN. I FIRST VISITED WHEN I GRADUATED FROM 6TH GRADE-MORE THAN 20 YEARS AGO. MY FAMILY HAS GONE THERE FOR SPECIAL OCCASIONS FOR AS LONG AS I CAN REMEMBER. I'M CONTINUING THAT TRADITION WITH MY NEICES AND NEPHEWS. THE FOOD IS FRESH, AND SERVICE IS USUALLY ON POINT. THE ATMOSPHERE IS NICE TOO...PERFECT FOR A FIRST DATE.
