My wife and I celebrated our 2nd Wedding Anniversary with the Las Vegas show in Arlington. Great memories!! We loved the show and the food! the cast are in character from the moment you arrive to pay for the show and will interact with you throughout the evening if you play along! First Class Dinner and Family Entertainment for the price!
Mystery Dinner Playhouse - Williamsburg – Just wanted to thank you for the great night the ladies had, we were in attendance at the end of September – 18 ladies from Canada. It was a blast. We scapbook together once a year as you know…I may have told you that. I am putting some pics together for our scrapbooks from this show. I have to say that the cat playing Jack, the detective is so talented. Really, he stole the show. You are so lucky to have him:)
Whole family had a great time! – My family and I had a wonderful time. We were vacationing in Williamsburg and decided to try Mystery Dinner Playhouse and we're glad we did. From the minute we arrived we were welcomed and entertained by a very professional group of people. The actors and the murder mystery were clever and engaging. My kids got a big kick out of trying to solve the mystery, even though none of us got it right. My wife and I thought the food was good, basic American fare, and the kids enjoyed the chicken fingers they ordered. Don't expect a traditional theater experience. This was interactive stuff kind of like Tony and Tina's Wedding. Everyone else at the show seemed to be enjoying themselves as well. I thought the price was reasonable for what we got, and I had a coupon discount, which was great. Definitely recommend to others!
What A Great Evening – I had never been to a "Mystery Dinner" before so was not sure what to expect. I have to say I was pleasantly suprised. From the goofy off center comedy of the cast, to the practice of serving the course, soup,salad.entree.desert,interspersed with breaks in the show, which allow the actors to mingle with the audience. It was like nothing i had ever seen as a theater expeience and one I cant wait to repeat. The food was good, not excellent but well done and served hot. By the end of the evening we felt like we had hung around the livingroom having a laugh with famuily and friends. I loved it
A pathetic amateur attempt at entertainment! – First, they charge and seat parties one at a time, which delayed the show. There, the $4 coupon is canceled out by tax. Why is the whole price taxed, isnt food the only taxable item? The plot was ridiculous and what middle school child wrote this script? I saw better acting in a high school production. One kid couldnt even project enough for the people to hear. The first joke they made about messing up their lines was funny, the next ten were annoying. The food was a la cafeteria style. The bread basket strategically contained one roll per person, which people attacked since theyve been waiting for this dinner for over an hour now. The cast had the nerve to point out that the actors were also the waiters and should be tipped. For what, bringing out two dishes? I flushed $72 (per couple) down the toilet.
