Great place for cake! – Between you and me, I eat a LOT of fast food. I finally tried Yoshinoya today. I had the Yoshi-meal #2, (chicken bowl w/ veggies, miso soup on the side). Let me just say this: If you are in the mood for some really tasty, prepackaged chocolate cake, and you are driving by a Yoshinoya, stop in get yourself a slice, it's good. If you are looking for something to EAT, do yourself a BIG favor and go somewhere else... really... I'm serious. I gave it a single star because neither "negative stars", nor "zero stars" was an option.
Fast-food chain serves traditional Japanese cuisine including beef and teriyaki bowls at affordable prices. – In Short
Since 1979, the chain restaurant continues to serve beef and chicken bowls as well as combo platters priced between $4 and $6. With more than 80 stores in California and New York, a few locations are open 24 hours and most offer drive-through windows. Guests can choose from soups (including clam chowder) and salads (chicken salad, garden and macaroni). The eatery also features dessert items including caramel flan and cheesecake, to name a few. With fast, friendly service and a fresh, healthy alternative to traditional fast foods, it's no wonder guests keep coming back.
