Instructor Rob French. Just took a lesson last night. First lesson I have taken, and would not go to another instructor. This guy is great. I would recommend him to anyone.

What Would Freddy Think?. I frankly don't care if Freddy Couples played here long ago; the course is pretty mundane. Nothing too special about the holes, and it's difficult to get a tee time unless you call exactly one week ahead. Can still be mushy during the rainy season. I believe this is a busy course, because what else is there between Beacon Hill and Renton?? I'd rather spend the gas and play at Maplewood in Renton or go north to Jackson or West Seattle. Also, the driving range here at Jefferson has to be the absolute worse I've been to. The clubhouse is nothing to write home about either.

It's close, it's beautiful, it's been around forever--and it's Fred Couples' home course..
In Short
Situated on Beacon Hill, just minutes from downtown Seattle, this 18-hole course is extremely busy. Considering it hosts 80,000 rounds of golf annually, Jefferson Park is in remarkably good condition. The traditionally-designed layout enhances playability. Only 12 bunkers dot the course, resulting in few hazards overall. Conditions are occasionally wet in the winter, but Jefferson's maintenance crew has vastly improved drainage in the past few years.

1. Way over priced! Only play this course if you don't have time to drive to a quality course. Driving range is awful.
