Great... but staff???. I can not belive that after two years of the negative staff review below - managment has not taken action. I love this place! The food is amazing, the beer is awesome, the atmosphere is historic and great, but the wait staff is horrible.

I wait much too long, then once my order comes, I am never checked iin with again for satisfaction, additional needs, more beer, etc.... I never feel the wait staff deserves a tip.

But, there is ONE girl who is awesome and if you are lucky enough to get her, you are lucky. She is outgoing, bubbly, attentive, personable, and every thing a waitress should be. If I get her, I give her a double tip!

I did have one great behind-the-bar guy who was awesome, but one person can not do it all and he was over worked.

Management - wake up!!

Cool bar. I really like this place. If you want a big micro brew selection then this is the place for you. They don't just serve the standard Redhook and Mac and Jack. They have beers from other small breweries from around the northwest. Better tavern food than what is normal.

Great place to meet friends....... Just visiting from out of town. What a great atmosphere and super menu selection. Loved the in house potato chips and the varity on the menu. Something for everyone. If I am ever back in Bothell it will be on the list of must do's. Service was great and very up beat. Made for a perfect fun evening with my friends.

Wonderful Local Pub. My friends and I love the Alehouse! The food is great. They have good, gooey burgers and my friend Jim loves the Ancho Ribs.

I have a fun time trying new drinks with the bartender. And oh yes, the beer is good too.

You can't find a better warm, friendly pub.

Good food but where is the staff??. I really enjoy going to the ale house to meet with friends but everytime I am there I never seem to get any service. It's usually 10 min. before I even get a menu??

Stuck-up and arrogant servers. Hey, don't waste your time or money grabbing a tip out of your wallet. The servers are arrogant and rude and the overall service is lousy. The owner really needs to overhaul the entire wait staff. Well.. the daytime staff isn't so bad, but the night staff are the ones that need to go.

However, the kitchen staff are quite talented with the food and the Mac and Cheese is to die for! The one star I gave the Ale House is for the kitchen staff and food ONLY. Now to get the service to match the quality of the food..
