XOXO Party – Couldn't have asked for a better birthday. Love the elevated bar above the stage. I've seen ~10 shows at Studio Seven; I've been going there for almost 10 years now and still love the place.

bad managment – I work for a promotional agency and sometimes I see talent and opportunity by chance. After a business dinner I was dragged by friends to see LA Guns last night, March 20 2010 in Seattle at Studio Seven. While I was there I scouted the bands manager and exchanged business contact info. He was very nice and was explaining some tour details to me when a FAT female came out of the crowd, pushed me backwards and told me I wasn't allowed so close to the band/stage. I was surprised at her rude behavior but I complied. I understand they can't allow people past a certain point due to insurance and legal issues. As I walked away she followed me and I attempted to hand her a business card and explain who I was. She said she had no time to hear what I was saying and then insisted that I move even further away. By the time she ushered me to the location she wanted me standing I was well beyond where I needed to be and when I attempted to explain that my companions were upstairs and I would just go up and stay there for the rest of the show. She said "I don't want to hear anything from you. I am the manager and I am too busy to be talking to you." Then she walked away so I snuck upsatirs anyway to be with my firends. We sat quietly, finished the show and then left. I was later told by one of my friends that he attempted to buy 4 LA Guns T shirts during the show as a quick memento for the night and he was told by Studio Seven managment that none were for sale (even though they were displayed with sale signs on them. I have never been to a show where the band displays shirts for sale but doesn't want to make $ selling any. I wonder if the band was aware of what the club was doing?). He was told to go back upstairs and watch the show. He complied and that is where he stayed until we left. It is a shame that the managment was so rude and unprofessional. You'd think in a tight economy that they would want talent scouts and large promotional companies to endorse them? I guess they have endless supplies of cash to keep them afloat through tough economic times and they think they can treat their patrons poorly and we'll keep coming back. HA HA HA. Ain't gonna happen with me and in the future I will NOT be kind when someone asks for endorsment of the club. I see potential for success for Studio Seven because of the location, set up and bands they have performing but I know it will fail due to bad treatment of patrons. By the way, I was NOT drinking, I am in my mid 40s and was in full business attire when this took place. So were the 3 other guests who accompanied me. We didn't look or act inappropriately.

My first time and my friends and I are going back for too short – Wow dude we all saw you and you were rude.... We were walking out after the show and heard you yelling and being well a pain in the hinny.... The security guys and the lady from the bar all told you that you had to what until they cleared the house in order for you to come in and look for your stupid shoe!! and you just kept going on with your disrespectful attitude and tone of voice, they should have thrown that shoe at you!!! And then when were driving away the cops had you!!! The bar is great those ladies pour a mean long island!!! We were a bit put off by the plastic shot cup but after the first one who cares it worked for all of us and the ladies up there were funny and did a SUPER job all night... LOOKING FORWARD TO THE TOO SHORT SHOW

studio 7=hella lame – this is my first review... this venue was terrible. i just went to the andre nickatina show there and got kicked out 2 songs into it for being shoved then put in a headlock by some douche. security there is blind and completely worthless.... when i got shoved my shoe came off and the forced me to stand outside in the wet until the show was over, and refused to talk to me about anything let alone getting my shoe. inside is small and run down... what a pos. tiny balcony with enough room for one row of people who can actually see the show. if your 21 or over to get to excited about the rip off bar with no view.

Horrible, worst expierince of my life! – This club was dirty and unwelcoming. I didn't enjoy it at all. If you are a 40 year old loser who lives in your parents basement playing world of warcraft 24/7 and loves listening to emo-screamo death metal that is lame, then you might enjoy this. Otherwise I would deffinatly not recomend this place, it was very lame and $ucked, scary looking ppl, bad bands, expensive for what you get I mean worst ten bucks I ever spent ok...seedy place and its like in the g/-/ett0 =O HORRIBLE!!! hated this...was like really bad so many guys try to pick you up but not ever a nice one or hot one...not nice guys ok, there was like not one person there w/o a tattoo or more than one tattoo! Creepy dirty bathrooms, too loud to hear anybody and this was just a horrible expirence overall, nothing good about this place! STAY AWAY!

Lame, don't bother – At this place you get what you pay for, stay on the beaten path and get better service, better drinks and don't risk getting your car broken into.

This all-ages nightclub caters to rock-and-rollers young and old. – The Scene
Turn down a street that looks more like an alley, find parking, and follow the music. That's how one locates Studio Seven, a warehouse-cum-nightclub that's nicer inside than many of Seattle's established venues. Two levels separate the under-21s from the overs, with a bar upstairs for those of age to partake. A generously sized stage, good lighting and decent acoustics make it the perfect place to check out that obscure band.

The Draw
This all-ages spot really is all-ages--from teenagers to grandparents, the crowd covers every generation. The place only serves beer and soda and the selection's not the best, but the prices are reasonable, and the staff is uniformly friendly and helpful. There's room to sit and chat, stand and listen, or just hang out.
