good food, good time – This place is always busy so it must be good. I hadn't been to the roadhouse since they opened quite a few years ago,i don't know why, just one of those things. I decided to go with the sirloin tips in brown gravy with mushrooms and onions for a very reasonable 10.99 I chose a baked pot. and green beans for my sides and was all around very pleased. The meal was delicious. My dining partner for the evening decided to get a little adventurous( at my urging ) and try the fried catfish. He enjoyed his meal also which I believe was also 10.99. The fish was tasty, the batter crunchy and is also served with your choice of 2 sides. I had ordered an onion blossom for an appetizer and while nicely presented, I did not care for the seasonings they use in the batter for it, cajun spices I believe. Our wonderful waitress asked if she could pack it up for us and I told her no I did not care for the spices used and at the ended of the evening she informed us that the mngr. had removed that charge from our bill which I thought was so nice of them. The rolls and cinnamon butter are to die for! and the buckets of peanuts are a fun treat to start out the evening. It is a fun and busy atmosphere and I noticed plenty of people with young children. I won' take so long to return again. The ribs and burgers passing by looked yummy also!

Texas--themed barbecue chain provides carnivores with a family-friendly spot for a hand-cut steak or rack of tender ribs. – In Short
With dozens of locations spread across most of the country, this faux-roadhouse chain has become a dependable spot for families in search of a casual spot for affordable steaks and down-home comfort fare. The playful menu is dotted with kid-friendly titles (chicken "critters," "road kill" chopped sirloin) and options (add caramel and marshmallow to a baked sweet potato for a dollar). In-house hand-cut steaks come in a plethora of cuts and sizes.
