Buyers Beware!!! I returned the car... and thats rare – PLEASE! PLEASE! Research the dealership and read reviews on them before you make a purchase either in-person or over the internet. Read the state laws: Unfair and Deceptive Acts and Practices (UDAP) law; Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act; Federal Trade Commission's (FTC) Used Car Rule and other s.
A great website to review all the state laws dealing with car purchases: www.lemonjustice com.
Good luck and thanks for reading… I hope you find the car you’re looking for and don’t have to deal with Deceptive and Dishonest dealerships like United BMW of Roswell, GA. NOTE: They are a branch of Penske Corporation, so I would assume if United BMW has salesmen and managers that prey on innocent consumers then it would be easy to assume that other Penske Corp. owned dealership practice this type of “shady” sales techniques.
They Write the Standards in Customer Service – The team at United BMW, Roswell, truly writes the standards in auto customer support. Everyone goes out of his/her way to make you feel at home, and continue to support their customers even after a sales transaction is completed. Our four sales experiences with Cheri Comfort, Sales Manager, and Jim Tompkins, Internet Manager, were absolutely flawless and quite civilized. In service Eric Rossmann, Assistant Service Manager, takes ownership of every single detail and he is never satisfied, until you are. I do not have enough good words to describe United BMW's excellent qualities under the leadership of Dean Ciccone, the General Manager. I most highly recommend them for sales and service.
Screws up suspension work; wants $1,500 more – Asked United BMW to install a suspension upgrade kit on a new 2011 BMW.
United BMW only installed half of the parts. The parts they did install were installed incorrectly. They rounded-off a few bolts. A four wheel alignment performed as part of the installation was massively hosed up.
United BMW said that they sold me a different suspension that did only contain half of the parts, but cost the same amount of money.
The service invoice cited the BMW part number of a product United BMW advertised prominently featuring the missing parts. The service invoice stated the missing parts had been installed.
United BMW asked for another $1,500 to complete the suspension upgrade with all the required parts.
United BMW insisted the four wheel alignment was done correctly even though toe-out was massively out of spec on all four wheels, and there was a .5 degree difference in camber between the two rear wheels.
The after-sales manager 'suggested' that I not discuss my United BMW service experience on the Internet.
By the way, check out prestoreviews dot com. PrestoReviews is a company that creates fake positive reviews for auto dealerships (*cough*CAEEDUCKETT4606*/cough*).
I truly enjoyed the professionalism as well as courteous sales support from Joe Leonard.
Went smoothly – I had a very good experience picking up my X5. It was prepped well and the signing process went smoothly. I appreciate the lack of high pressure selling of dealer services (lojack, stone guard, etc.). I got the wheel/tire warranty but passed on the others.
Pleasant experience – Service was excellent, a very pleasant experience. I would recommend United BMW to friends and family.
Could not have been better – The service could not have been better. Joshoa was very helpful, very professional and really understood what I was looking for
Josh Sinsley is the reason I bought the car from United. I was dealing with Global Imports and while they were nice, it was obvious that they were not sincere. My experience at United just "felt right".
Excellent service representative, Scott Green. He's the reason we do busines with you thru the service department and why we have now bought three cars from you.
