Highly recommend – I was referred to Healthy Agendas by my doctor to help get my diabetes under control. The office staff was prompt, friendly and professional. The dietician spent over 2 hours with me. She educated me about diabetes and how it affects my health. She explained how modifying my diet would help me control the disease and also suggested which food choices would be most beneficial and which to avoid. I felt that she was not only extremely knowledgeable, but truly cared about my health. I would highly recommend Healthy Agendas to anyone wanting to know how and why to modify their diet for better health.
A Healthy Choice – Healthy Agendas has been servicing patients for nearly 10 years with 20+ years experience educating patients in South Florida. They do not turn away patients or send them out without information. The owner is a patient advocate with a masters in Social Work who makes every effort, regardless of insurance, to provide ultimate patient care even if that means directing patients to alternate providers. They are highly respected as experts in the fields of Diabetes Education and Medical Nutrition Therapy in all areas of nutrition, both by the physicians who refer to them and the patients they help everyday.
Do NOT go there! – Went for a diabetes information. They kicked me out 1/2 way through me appointment because they said my insurance would not cover. However, they billed my insurance company, collected the money and when I called to make an appointment to get the information that my insurance company paid for I was told I had enough information. The appt. was supposed to be 2 hours and was asked to leave after a 1/2 hour ~ doesn't seem like I got it all. Anyway, spoke with the owner who was SO extremely rude and nasty. I even filed a petition with my insurance company. Please find a different professional ~ they don't deserve any business!
