Notes from the Underground? – Oh Clothing Brigade, I WANT to love your store, I truly do. It's just the perfect compliment to the hipster Warehouse District and it's hands-down Cleveland's best trendy-tee-and-denim store. I ABSOLUTELY love your Wrath Arcane label, your designs are so clever! I love the physical look of the store itself. I even find your owner's arrogance to be kinda hot (see what is clearly an owner/employee review below)! But your store is SO far from "underground" or "independent" (mass-produced/distributed labels like Rag & Bone and Theory can be found at nearly every men's store in NEO, and the world...and labels like 555 Soul are at Nordstrom!!!!), I want to b*rf every time I read that you say it. Your store is also "local-supportive" in only its loosest definition (there must be a DOZEN stores here that carry a MUCH bigger, better selection of locally-made clothes/ bags/ jewelry/ scarves/ art/ whatever). I want to love you Clothing Brigade, I do I do I do...so "sell" yourself as you really are! You ain't indie, you ain't local...you're just great!
only great stores in cleveland – I have lived and nyc for three years and know underground fashion very well. The labels that these stores carry are so hard to find all under one roof in any other city. This is one of places that you need to check up with every week because the hard to find stuff is out the door at any instant. They only bring in one of every size so you wont spend a lot of money only to see someone else wearing it. The staff there are some of the nicest people i have ever dealt with. They take the time to show you all of the lines and artistic collaborations they have, including their own creation, Wrath Arcane. If you are looking for stupid name labels or clean basics stick to Higbee's. I think that it is great that they also try to help out local artists. If they dont, who will? They will just keep moving away from the city. This group from the brigade understand fashion and want to make this a better place. Support them before they decide to stop the education process!
ugly ugly cheap cheap – i read the other review and yes the owner is rude but who cares. they all are and he's not the rudest i've dealt with. that would be at 'sweet threads'. but anyway, more important to me is that the clothes and accessories at nabici are not good - it looks like a thrift store, and not even a good one. like someone bought clothes at a thrift store and marked the price up like $80. ugly dresses and mens shirts, ugly bags, i bought an o.k. pair of shoes on sale for my husband though. the place next door is better but they had the same stuff all the times i went in there.
Poor selection and worse staff – This place was suggested to me when I first moved here from Chicago, my friend said they carry designers like Prada and indie designers too. I was dissappointed in the limited selection, the sales guy was extremely rude, the clothes were all updated vintage and cheap, home-made purses.
