The owner treats every customer as if you were her best bud. The staff takes a personal interest in each pet and his/her specific needs. Until I found this "home away from home" for my 4 legged family members, I always had a sitter stay at my home during family getaways.
The prices cannot be matched and the customer service is amazing. I cannot imagine a better establishment for grooming or boarding my 120 lb. baby.
This place is the pits!. Jerry the owner is rude as can be and the staff seems bullied and confused and poorly trained. My dogs were nervous wrecks and the cuts were awful. They also had fleas which I have never had a problem with before. They are clearly just trying to make money and are not real dog lovers. Stay clear!!!!!!!
Excellent groomers and customer service.. They love animals and treat the animals very well..
The only downside is they are so busy - sometimes they don't answer the phone or they forget to take the machine off after lunch and it may take a while to reach them.
highly recommended. I take my dog to Carrie's every month for grooming and could not be happier with their work and their service. I have dealt with the owners as well as other employees and some of the groomers, and all have been courteous, helpful and very loving toward my dog. I have recommended them to many people who need to board or groom their dogs, and they too were happy with Carrie's!
This is my first message on City Search and I had to comment on the groomers/owners/service provided by Carrie's Canine Cuts. For the price they charge, they are excellent in all areas. My two 4 year old Shih Tzus get their hair cut every 8 weeks and they look great after each visit. The owner is very hands-on with the customers and I have dealt with her almost exclusively. I have another dog who is much older and the owner took the time to talk with me about the situation in detail and gave me recommendations for his care and grooming needs.
I have also left my two Shih Tzus there for boarding and am going to use them again for my dogs when I go out of town.
I feel good about the service they provide.
Stay Away!!! (Not Recommended). This place is horrible! Gheri one of the owners is very rude, nasty, and disrespecful. I have often heard her say mean things about her customers. I also know that they leave the dogs unattended and unsupervised throughout the day. Do NOT take your dog their for grooming, doggie daycare, or boarding. They have also been caught in many lies. The character of this establishment is the worst. They treat their customers and their employees very horrible and demeaning. Stay away!!!!
Great Place. Carries Canines is the best place to go for dog lovers. I have personally been going there for 3 years. The staff is very pleasant to deal with. I always feel like when I leave Gizmo ( my Shih Tzu ) with them its like leaving him with family. I have always gotten Gizmo groomed here also. The grooming staff is very friendly and out going. I have always been 100% satisfied with the work they do. Gizmo always looks his best when he leaves here. There is no other place I would take him to.

When we reserved, they said that we could not check in until the afternoon, very inconvenient! Check-in was chaotic. They had to keep our vet info b/c they couldn't make copies. We requested that our dogs be bathed before we pick them up. They said that it would be late on the day of pickup, and they verified my cell number to call when they were done bathing them.
Today, pick-up day, we return home at 6:10PM, thinking they were open until 7PM, and find a message on our machine from 4PM saying our dogs are ready. I call them to find they've already closed. They *never* called my cell, as promised. Did they expect us to sit by our home phone waiting for the call to pick up our dogs? They said it would be late, so I didn't want to call them first.
At 6:30, the owner calls my cell. I explain the situation to her and say that it would have been appropriate to call our cell phone so we could pick the dogs up on time.
The owner's snitty reply: "What would be appropriate is to pick your dogs up at the time you agreed to when you dropped them off. We go over it with everyone when we check dogs in."
Me: "I'm sorry, but I can honestly say you never went over that with us."
Owner: "Yes, I did it personally."
I swear on my mother's life that whoever checked us in, if it was the owner, did *not* discuss it with us. But I'll admit I should have known their closing time if they'd admit that they should have called my cell phone.
It looks to me like they saw an opportunity to charge us for another day and jumped on it. What would have been smart was to say, "If you're here by 7PM you can pick them up," if only to keep our business which, with three dogs, was sure to be repeat. That's the last dollar they'll see from us!
Also, one of our three dogs (the one who was boarded by himself) came back with FLEAS-- and we have NEVER had a flea problem with our dogs (and haven't since)!
unattened dogs. I was looking for a place to board my dog this summer and went to check this place out I found out that the dogs are left outside with other customers dogs unsupervised, I have called around and found out this is rare and very unsafe!!
