Such an easy transaction! No stress and no hassles from salesmen. I called and explained what I wanted, walked in to the dealership about an hour later with three potential cars pulled for me to look at, test drove the one I like the most and walked out about three hours later with a new car. It's nice to deal with this family owned and operated dealership. I highly recommend going there the next time you are in the mood for a new or used car.
Never buy a car from them! – I bought a new car 5 years ago and haven't stopped receiving junk mail from them yet. Then recently I received a letter from a lawyer saying I didn't pay my Cook County Use Tax on my car I bought from them 5 YEARS AGO!! After calling and speaking to MIKE ARMSTRONG I was told to give him a couple days to take care of this. A month passes and I have called and emailed Mike several times with not a single response. A packet shows up at my house with proof that I paid my Use Tax. BUT there is no explanation to what was done with this information, what I should now do with the information. Not anything explaining the packet. I called the office manager and left a message and never received a call back. So finally after I call her AGAIN she explains that they mailed the same information to the lawyer and I should call him. I just had to share because there never should have been the screw up in the first place and then I can't even get a phone call or email back to explain it to me!!! So good luck with this dealership, Folks!
Shady Tactics, BEWARE! – Appalling "bait and switch" tactics used by the "internet manager" to lure me into this place. They created a fake "buyer" for my car, and then tried to lowball me once I was there. The manager could not have cared less when I complained. No wonder car dealers have such a bad reputation. At least I had the good sense to walk away as fast as possible!
best car buying experience – My buying experience at Advantage Chevrolet was enjoyable. The sales staff of Joslynn, Michael Armstrong, Mark Ott and Jason, were wonderful to deal with. They treated me with courtesy and very expeditiously took care of a couple of requests I made in regards to the purchase of my Camaro SS Convertible.
This is my second purchase from Advantage within the past 3 years and I bring both of my vehicles in for periodic maintenance and I have received the same great customer service. I felt a sincere interest and concern they have towards their customers buying experience and overall satisfaction.
Steer Clear .... – Wow ... where do I start. I knew from the moment I walked in the door I was stuck with an idiot.
After taking a look at what they had in stock and going for a test drive in a 2011 Camaro .. it was time to talk money. After about an hour of going back and forth with all the nonsense .. they tell me the car I was looking at had already been sold! While I was on the phone with Geico, the salesman is asking me for a debit card. I refused .. not sure what that was about as there was no sale.
I left very disappointed and would never go back. Stay far away ...
Very satisfy. Great dealer – We felt that the staff was there to help us in any way they could. They even offered balloons and hot dogs, sometimes its more important to know that they care about you and not just selling a car.
They help me find what was best for me and we are completely satisfy with our car. the staff had good knowledge of the cars.
We found out that this is a family own business and they trully treat you like family.
DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME!!! – First of all they are all over you like flies....even when you tell them you are just looking and will find them. They follow you like your gonna take off in the car that your looking at. You ask to test drive the car and ask questions about the vehicle he has NO clue and says over and over again we will look it up...HELLO you should know even the basics about a vehicle!! My husband was more knowledgable about the vehicles. Then they are very pushy for sales people(I know its their job) and will ask for your credit card and when you tell them your gonna think about it they don't want to give you your card back and when you ask why they want it they don't give you an explanation. When you have problems they do NOT call you back...NOT EVEN THE OWNERS!!! Even when things are in writing they don't fix them and your car comes back DIRTY with stains and different noises!! GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!
Very Helpful – First off I am a 21 year old college student going to school full time and also working a full time job just trying to make it, when my 2006 Toyota Camry that I had received as a graduation present broke down on me. I had never bought a vehicle on my own before so need less to say I was a little scared and nervous. Now let me tell you how releived I was to walk into Advantage Chevrolet, not only were they extremely friendly, but they found a way to fit a new 2010 Equinox into my budget, and made sure that I was completlely happy with it. I hope that everyone out there looking for a new vehicle has the pleasure of visiting Advantage Chevrolet
