Great service Wonderful food Awesome atmosphere – Not what you would expect! It looks from the exterior to be a little dinky Asian restaurant but when you walk inside it is charming, warm, romantic, and quite inviting. My boyfriend and I went there because Outback was overly packed and we definitely did not regret it. The food is authentic and delicious with generous portions. The staff are quite friendly and helpful when deciding what to eat. Last time I went I had this delicious sweet plum wine suggested by my waitress--it was amazing with dessert. This place is really a must try!
One of My Favorites – Love this place - eat here about twice a month. They can be really busy at lunch-time on weekdays, but not too bad most evenings. They have a newer location out on South Rainbow that I've been too once - not as busy and very nice decor. Food is great, service is usually very good and wait staff are typically beautiful Thai girls. If you like Thai food, you've got to give Pin Kaow a try.
I dream Chicken Pad Thai – I am a huge fan of this place. Though I have had some bad service in the past with the hostess. BUT the food is so good that we have forgiven the one time bad service.
If you are looking for great Thai food and wonder if this is the place to go to, just stop by on a Friday or Saturday night. The place is guaranteed to be jammed packed with people everywhere waiting (they dont have a waiting area so people wait where ever they can stand). But it doesnt stop people from coming.
We usually order the wonton soup pot, chicken pad thai and another dish. Those two are the staples. I dream of the pad thai. It is amazing. We frequent this place once every one to two weeks. Sometimes we stop in and sometimes we order out. Never a disappointment on the food. Pretty consistant.
This is one of the RJ's best of...go check it out and you will see why.
Good atmosphere – My girlfriend loves coming here for the papaya salad and the skinny senorita drink. She insists on having ty ku because it has less calories, and i'm not complaining.
My personal favorite though is the salmon and tom yum soup, just enough spiciness. We're usually here on a friday or sat when they have the thai dancers, adds a little entertainment to just a dinner date.
We're regulars here for a reason, pin kaow is def worth a visit.
Not that great – I ordered my food to-go. I did not like their service. The cashier lady was quite rude and the food was not authentic at all. I wouldn't recommend this place.
Lake mead and rainbow – Being thai i can say that this is the best thai resturaunt in vegas i can cook almost all of the thai food and i am very picky about what i eat but this is just like home cooking espesialy just like my mom makes.
Cold Food – I am so tired of hearing everyone in the city rave about this place! My husband and I went there one night, ordered our food, and maybe 4 minutes went by and our dinner was out before our appitizer came. It was cold and bland tasting. Having dinner is in 4 minutes would be nice, but not reality for FRESH food. We tried the place out again, and our food was a bit better tasting, but the service definatly lacked. Overall, I wish people would stop talking about this place like its heaven sent because with my experiance, its FAR from.
Wow!! – Great service, beyond expectations. As you walk in the atmosphere of the restauraunts sets you in the mood and prepares your for a great meal at this restauraunt. Very nice servers , though have of them dont speak english, enough to provide great customer service though. I would definetely recommend this restauraunt.
Greedy and The Rudest Restaurant in LV (Rainbow and Robindale Location) – I have been overcharged and treated like DIRT on the last 3 occasions. The 1st time, we were charged for 4 rounds of cocktails, when we were only served 2.We waited for the 3rd round and it never came. When I tried to bring up the error to the server, she acted like we were trying to get away w/something. I didn't want to look cheap, so I just dropped it and secretly vowed never to return. However, a client asked to get delivery for a meeting. When I ordered I spoke to a woman who could not speak english. After repeating my credit card 5 times, she said ok and just hung up. I called her back to ask the ETA and for a total. She then HUFFED at me and said she had other customers calling and put me on hold. After leaving me on hold another 5minutes, she came back and had no idea who I was or what I wanted. I finally was told delivery would be around 1hour and 15 minutes. I thought that was crazy, but just thought I would leave well enough alone. 1hour and 45 mins later, when I called to ask where my food was, I was told the delivery driver had just left. 2 h and 20 mins later, we had our food. When he got there, the check had 2 items on the bill we did not order or recieve and an outrageous delivery fee. I called to discuss this with the restaurant before I signed the card and they acted like they did not understand. The next day I looked at my bank account and saw two charges for Pin Kaow. To end a very long story, I was never able to get this resolved. Tonight, I HAD to get it AGAIN. Instead of waiting 2 /2 hours, I decided to pick up. I asked how long it would take and said I was in a rush. She said 10. I sat there for about 15 and then saw a bag come out from the kitchen. Thinking surely she would hand it over it it was mine. Instead she just sat there and counted money for another 10 minutes until I had to say-"that's not our food, is it?" She didn't even look up and just said "yeah". If I wouldn't have already paid I would have just walked out.
good food; good atmosphere – its hard to find a good place to get asian food but this place is the best its afforable and good, i usually get the BBQ chicken but ive tired almost everything on the menu and i love it. If you have time stop by and sit and enjoy the atmosphere or pick up you wont be disapointed. Love that place and will continue to go there.
