NOT WORTH THE MONEY – My husband and I went there because it's close. However, I intend to look elsewhere for Thai..Every time we go, they try to shove us in the back at a very tiny table by the kitchen. They did the same when I came with a girlfriend at lunch time, this time I refused, and the guy seating us made it VERY clear he was pissed. Silverware spotty and sometimes dirty. Calamari can be melt in your mouth, or like chewing a rubberband-that's been lately. It's supposed to be spicy, but I guess they think Americans can't hang. I came from Texas-hot is a daily thing, but I don't want it like a chemical burn. The food is tasty, but not the best I've ever had.Waitesses are great. The carpet is old and greasy-dirty, the interior needs a facelift, and the black curtain going to the kitchen looks crappy. Since I get shoved back by the kitchen, I can see into it, and the kitchen doesn't look clean. Now let me warn you: ORDERING OVER THE PHONE IS A NIGHTMARE. The girl barely speaks English, she leaves you on hold, trying to get her to COMPREHEND what you're asking for gives throbbing headache, she's rude when she tells you they don't have any rice/noodles/whatever they've run out of. She'll tell you ready in 45 min, but be prepared to stand there for an additional 30 min trying to get your order. And when you DO get your food, the portions are very small, and spilled juice inside the bags. Or they give you the wrong stuff, and it's just too much hassle to go back. I've started going to their competitior across from them, Ginger House, and asking them to just make the food spicy. Ginger House makes you feel VERY welcome, it's very very clean, and when I leave, I'm smiling. Not the same with Phuket Thai, sadly. Overpriced for what you get, in my opinion.

All pros, no cons – I overheard a conversation between coworkers of a Thai restaurant in Mililani and decided I had to check it out. I brought my fiancee and future in-laws for the experience. This little restaurant with about 10 tables would be hard to locate if you didn't know where exactly it was. But the food was amazing! Well priced, great service and a good overall experience. Definitely going back again.

Mililani's Little Thai Secret – We discovered this "best kept secret" in the Mililani strip mall in 2004. It is small, (about 20 tables) and is always packed. Weeknights are better than weekends. Reservations make the wait shorter. Enjoyed their outstanding food for two years. Returned to the mainland for eighteen months and never found their equal in Utah or California. Returned to Oahu in 2008 and the first place we visited for dinner, less than 24 hours after returning was Phuket Thai. Much to our delight, we discovered they have received the award for the best Thai food on the island in 2007. They also have two sister restaurants in downtown Honolulu. Nothing else comes close. Their food is fresh, beautifully presented and cooked to your specification of "hot". The green papaya salad is always fresh and crisp and well flavored, but not too hot. The curries, and we've tried all, from vegetarian to beef are all yummy. Ginger and lemongrass soup is to die for. You will not be disappointed.

best calimari in the world – I lived in Hawaii for a few years and my ex-husband and I always looked for a good place that wasn't too expensive and away from the big city. We found Phuket thai one day at the millilani shopping mall and were skeptical at first. I have never been a huge fan of ethnic foods. However the food here is absolutely amazing. you would never know just walking by. Its an intimate setting, that is best to go to on weekday nights because it gets very busy on the weekends. You have to try the calimari appatizer, if your a fan...and even if your not because i know you will like it. its not the tiny over fried little bits you get at almost any midwestern restaurant on the mainland with the normal marinara dipping sauce. They are impressivly huge golden crisped pieces that are just so good. And they give you this kind of spicy honey mystery dipping sauce that just wraps up the flavor. My favorite dish was the seafood paenut curry, or panang seafood I think it was called. Gotta get a side of sticky rice with that. Anyways, they give you lots of seafood in this curry such as shrimp/calimari/scallops/ and sea bass. I always got it mild because i'm a wuss, but it was spicy enough for me and anyone else who can't handle too much spice. The peanut curry was so good, its creamy and not too thick, perfect to pour over some sticky rice. We must have gone there every 2 weeks after we first tried it until we moved. I now live back in Ohio and crave my panang curry all the time. I'm ready to fly back just to eat there it was so good.. I think that should make you go try it huh? I've tried other thai restaurants and seafood curry's in ohio but they dont even come close to phuket. It makes me and my stomach very sad :( Eat there for me, please :)

Great Food – This place didn't look like it would be much judging from the strip mall its located in but it was a great surprise. I've eaten here quite a few times with family and friends and have yet to hear a complaint. My dad is EXTREMELY hard to please when it comes to eating out and he usually has negative things to sat about most places we go, no matter how high-end. However, he was a fool for the yellow beef curry and actually requested to eat there again on a return trip, to my surprise. The restaurant, although on the small side, is still very clean and beautiful, with modern art hung on the walls. Parking can be a problem at night as it can get pretty busy in that area.
