What a horrible place! I took 7 bridesmaids for dress by Alfred Sung. Of the 7 all were 2 sizes too big when sent from "designer". On top of that, the staff who measured the women tolda 2 of the 7 that they need to pay for an extra size above 16 and the other for extra size and extra length. Now the same women have to shorten and make the dresses smaller- no one lost weight here. Just was "fitted" incorrectly. This franchise just wants you to pay alot for a dress then pay even more for alterations on top of that! Disgusting customer service. Thank goodness I got my wedding gown elsewhere otherwise it probably would have cost me a down payment on a house! Not too worry, have complained to Better Business Bureau and will keep complaining until something is done.

gorgeous gowns – I bought my dress in may and got married in October. The dress was Ines Di Santo (which they have an enormous selection of).

My mother got her dress there as well. She had to have significant alterations. Her dress had a lot of rouging (as did mine)- which really requires a skilled seamstress. My mom is also extremely picky and she was thrilled. I would literally bring all my dresses there for alterations (unfortunately, that is not an option). A skilled seamstress is imperative when altering an expensive gown- it makes a huge difference in the final product.

The staff was professional and I really felt like it was a boutique. I spent one day going to 6 different stores-with my bridesmaidsand and we all felt most comfortable here.

I am an extremely picky person and would highly recommend them.

An Amazing Experience by Far! – I cannot begin to express how great my experience was. I bought my beautiful wedding gown from their salon and I couldnt have been any happier. The staff was so friendly and proffessional, I really felt comfortable everytime I walked in. My seamstress was amazing. The dress looked like it was made just for me. Thank you Bridal Reflections for making my wedding day dreams come true. Your store is on a level on its own. Girls, if your looking for a great experience and a gorgeous wedding gown, go to Bridal Reflections! It's amazing.

What a beautiful bridal shop – I was there this weekend for the Ines DiSanto trunk show. Amazing gowns. Got to meet the designer, Found one called Turquoise and I loved it at first site. Tried on about 10 and went back to the first one! Couldnt have been sweeter. I live on Long Island so they said I can have my fittings down at either LI store. Pretty easy for me! Love my gown and loved my salesgirl Andrea!

Bridal Excellence! – I can't say enough about my experience at Bridal Reflections. From the the attentive and outstanding service to the exquisite gowns and beautiful salon, this was my best bridal experience by far!

All the staff - from the receptionist, to my bridal consultant ,to my fitter- were courteous and professional and made me feel as if I was the only bride in the salon. The experience was truly everything I had hoped it would be.

My gown was absolutely breathtaking! With a few design changes it became my own, one of a kind. The staff created a gown that I was completely comfortable in, helping me to overcome any issues I had with my body image. I couldn't have dreamed how fabulous it would turn out. The attention to detail and my concerns was above and beyond.

For those of you who are looking for that perfect gown, in the most beautiful salon, with the most attentive and creative staff, you will not be disappointed. I can tell you that it will be the the most memorable and least stressful experience of all your wedding planning. I wish I could do it all over again!!

Creme De La Creme – I was first introduced to Bridal Reflections about 8 years ago when my youngest sister was married. She had a large bridal party and Bridal Reflections bent over backwards to accommodate not only the bride but all of the attendants as well. As a bridal planner I was so impressed with their service and selection I have continued to recommend Bridal Reflections to my clients ever since. This is a family run business that takes tremendous pride in everything they do. They have three locations Massapequa, Carle Place and Manhattan, the selection varies from one salon to another so you would be well served to consider their advice regarding the appropriate location to meet your specific needs and budget.

If you have the opportunity to visit their new Manhattan salon on 5th Ave at west 28th street I can promise you will be awe struck the minute you step off the elevator, every inch of that store sparkles!! Not to sound cliche but I absolutely felt like a kid in a candy store when I first saw the place. To say it is impressive would be an understatement.

After 8 years and many, many brides of all tastes and budgets Bridal Reflections has exceeded my expectations every single time. You will not be disappointed.

The Dress of My Dreams! – I cannot even begin to say enough great things about Bridal Reflections. I sincerely believe that had I gone anywhere else, I would not have felt like a beautiful bride.

First, the salon itself is amazing. The gowns are simply sublime. From the moment I walked in, I was treated like I was the only bride in the salon. Of course that's not the case, there are hundreds, thousands of brides getting married, but it didnt feel that way to me. They made me feel so special. They worked with my budget, my body issues and all the little details that ended up in just gorgeous. They showed me patience and respect and didnt bring me anything I couldnt afford or that would have looked silly or too young (I'm in my mid30s). They asked all the right questions.

I tried on about 15 -20 dresses, and right off the bat they brought me exactly what I was looking for, and I fell in love with like 3....and then they brought me THE DRESS. Wasnt really what I was looking for, for one thing it was strapless. But the saleslady listened very carefully to what I was saying, and realized above all I wanted something different. The dress was so breathtaking on the hanger that I was compelled to try it on. It was transformative. The other looks I was going for I have seen on a jillion brides and while I liked the way those looked on me, they didnt have the wow factor. This one did. We added a stunning jewel and crystal encrusted belt that took it to a whole new level.

I could go on and on about my dress, but I cant stress enough the service and attention to detail I received from the staff at BR. I work in retail. There are people you just cannot please, and usually they are the most vocal. There have been countless times where a customer has thanked me so profusely, but it rarely gets acknowledged. I am writing this to let prospective brides out there know that they will NOT be sorry about a trip to Bridal Reflections. From the initial consultation to the final fitting, it was great! Seriously! It could not have gone better. Today is my four month anniversary and every time I look at my pictures (which I do like every other day!) I am overwhelmed with the joy of they day and how fantastic my dress turned out. I did not have one bridezilla moment, I am happy to say, and I think that had everything to do with how excited I was to marry my husband and wear my dress! My experience was perfect!! Good luck to all of you brides - it goes by much too quickly!

Best Bridal Service Around! – I got married last June and I bought EVERYTHING from Bridal Reflections in NYC. From the moment I walked through the door I was treated like a princess. I was assisted in finding my dream wedding dress and everything there after. It was nice because I was able to shop for the accessories such as the veil, headpiece, shoes, and custom jewlery at the same store. I loved being able to put my gown on while shopping for the other pieces, it made it very convenient.

The seamstress did a fabulous job altering my gown which was no easy task with all of the detailed bead work on it. There was not a moment where I felt uneasy with any part of my wedding gown.

My mother, bridesmaids, and flower girls purchashed their gowns from the Carle Place store. They staff was just as wonderful. The girls in the Bridesmaid's department were so helpful and knowledgable. My family and friends could not have been happier with their experience.

To all of the Bride's to be....I highly recommend that you go to Bridal Reflections for anything that you may need! Good Luck!!!

I wish I could give them less than 1 star! – Ugh! AW-FUL experience here!

Staffed by incompetent and rude people. I have never sewn, but I am certain I could do it better than their seamstresses.

I had an ok experience purchasing my dress here, but it went downhill from there. As soon as the dress went in for tailoring, the nightmare began. A strap was sewn in upside down, the width of the straps was done incorrectly twice, the seamstress left a stain on the dress, stitching that was supposed to be on the inside of the dress was done on the outside. These people COULD NOT GET IT RIGHT. Even the manager was shocked and horrified when she saw the final product. She complained to me that "you just can't get good help these days."

Oh, and don't bother calling, they never return a phone call.

Save yourself a headache and avoid this place. It's the worst!

Didn't Even Get Past Making an Appointment – I called up Bridal Reflections salon in Manhattan to make an appointment. This would have been the first salon I was going to on my search for a wedding dress.

The first thing I was asked after when my wedding date was is what is my budget; an understandable question. When I told the woman on the phone my price point, she told me I should go to their Carle Place location. I told her that this was my first bridal salon so I am unsure of price but for the right dress I was willing to spend, but she kept insisting that I go to Long Island, as if my budget, even though it was flexible, wasn't good enough for their location. So I kept insisting that if I found the right dress, my budget would be more flexible. Also, I told her that I did not have access to Long Island (I don't drive) and Manhattan was more convenient for me and flat out asked if she was refusing to make an appointment for me.

She finally said she would schedule an appointment for me and put me on hold for a minute. When she returned she scheduled the appointment then asked me for my credit card number to hold the consultation. So I asked if I would be charged for the consultation. She said no but if you cancel less than 24 hours before you appointment, you will be charged $50. Seriously?! My doctor doesn't charge $50 if I cancel my appointment and he can potentially save my life! I mean if I get hit by a bus that morning on my way to work, and I don't show up for the consultation, they would charge my credit card?! I can't believe that even if I called that morning to cancel that it would be unacceptable. I'm sure they have brides calling all the time to make appointments so if I canceled they could fill my appointment in no time. It's not the money, but the principle. It doesn't seem like $50 is to keep their business running, but rather to be punitive to the bride who may have to cancel.

I told her I was not comfortable with being charged if I have to cancel and that I would not be coming in to the salon. She said, very snotty in fact, well if you change your mind give us a call. No thanks. They clearly were not interested in my business anyway. She probably did me a favor by turning me off to their salon because based on some of the reviews I have read, this place sounds like they are not as prestegious as they would like to think they are.
