My Favorite! – Every time I have the extra cash to go out for a meal, Texas Roadhouse is the first on my list of options. Every location I've ever dined in has been equally amazing, and the York store is the closest to my home.
They have A-M-A-Z-I-N-G food and usually pretty excellent service. Over the course of my many trips there I've had the chicken critters, ribeye steak, ribs, house salads, the amazing (free!) rolls, steak fries, soda, and mixed drinks. Every single thing I've ever had there is delicious, and I stopped trying new entrees simply because trying something new would mean I'm not eating the ribeye or ribs I walked in there craving. The only drawback is that I can't afford to eat there on a daily or even weekly basis but I never get tired of the food. Dinner, drinks, and a tip for my husband and I is never less than $45-$50 per visit, and is quite frequently more than that depending on what we get. We could get away with spending only about $30 per visit if we ordered cheaper entrees, drank water, and didn't tip generously, but when we go to Texas Roadhouse I like to truly enjoy my meal to the fullest!
If I was rich I'd eat there every day (and spend the rest of my money on Liposuction or diet pills to make up for the massive amount of calories per meal). I highly recommend this restaurant, but try call-ahead seating in the evening if you'd prefer not to wait for 25-30 minutes. Also, the restaurant can be quite loud (the music is moderately loud, and the people are even louder when they are trying to talk over it) so if you're in the mood for a quiet meal this isn't the place for you. The noise has never been enough to ruin my dining experience but I'm sure there are people out there who really value a quiet atmosphere in a restaurant.
Good place to eat in York – One of the better places to eat in York.
Favorite! – This is by far my favorite restaurant. The chicken fingers are fantastic! Steaks are good too!
Texas--themed barbecue chain provides carnivores with a family-friendly spot for a hand-cut steak or rack of tender ribs. – In Short
With dozens of locations spread across most of the country, this faux-roadhouse chain has become a dependable spot for families in search of a casual spot for affordable steaks and down-home comfort fare. The playful menu is dotted with kid-friendly titles (chicken "critters," "road kill" chopped sirloin) and options (add caramel and marshmallow to a baked sweet potato for a dollar). In-house hand-cut steaks come in a plethora of cuts and sizes.
excellent – I would have to disagree with you mshannon. Considering the fact you can't spell properly, maybe that means you cant read properly. That may be why you arent able to get your steak cooked properly. In my opinion the resturant is great. Steaks are prepared to your liking. There is even a discription on the menu telling guests how the temperatures of the steaks will appear when they arrive. The service is great. Every server is very friendly and always has a smile on his/her face. The food is amazing with large portions of everything. Although you are not able to make reservations, you are able to call ahead an hour before you arrive and put your name on their waiting list. If you plan on arriving with a party larger than six on weekends, I would recommend calling 2 hours in advance.
Another Chain. A Bad Chain Steak House. – I tried this place 3 times. Each experiance was worst then the one before. Everthing from under and over cooked food, the wrong food, annoying servers, and a noise level that would make Pete Townson cringe. To make matters worse, I've heard the same story from many others. The only postive I heard is they give you a lot of food. Sorry, but I don't play that way. Quality over Quanity - Always!
Great steaks – This place has the most mouth watering steaks anywhere. The atmoshere is "quaint" if you like the western style, but I'm here for the food and they serve lots of it!!
