NO NO NO -- You will be sorry!!! – I will be dead honest here. The "all you can eat" sounds like the best deal, but don't fall for it. Sushi rolls are not well made, they are over packed with rice and nothing in the center. The bento box are stingy - i ordered salmon, and it was about 1/4 inch thick and the sauce was way too salty. Oh, another thing.. don't go there after 9pm, they have last order at 9:30pm. So afterward, if you are still hungry, you are screwed. Don't over order because they charge you for what you don't finish. Parking is bad bad bad.. Location is bad bad bad, they are next to a dumpster.
The service was ok, it can be improved. If it wasn't for their daughter waitressing, I couldn't have left any tips.
The restaurant is stuffy, cheap on a/c. No music for background. All noises are from people talking and kitchen stuff.
Trust me, don't waste your $10 (lunch) or $12 (dinner). I almost dine and dash. DON'T GO to this G-H-E-T-T-O Jap. Restaurant.
Great value, friendly service – The food here is better than many places in Oakland. The all you can eat menu is extremely extensive, you can't get as many choices anywhere else. The food is fresh, and the service is friendly, especially since the owner is always there to keep an eye on the shop. They didn't charge me a tip on my bill, it was optional, so i don't know what the other person is talking about. The owner's teenage daughter works there, and she is delightfully polite.
An amazing deal on sushi – Sui Sui K has an amazing $11.95 all you can eat menu which includes many types of sushi, udon and other Japanese delights. However, their reguar menu is also an excellent value. The menu is pretty standard Japanese fare, but the fish is fresh and the pieces are large. Also, they are very willing to comply with requests, and I've found the owner to be very friendly. The waitresses are often (apparently) her young teenage daughters. Although the service could be better, I think the fact that the girls are very young excuses it. I was surprised to read that other customers thought they were rude--they've always been incredibly nice to me. I've been to most of the sushi places in Oakland. I'd say that this one of the top few, not even counting their all you can eat menu. Factor that in, and it's the best deal in Oakland.
Decent food for the price – The food is decent and the portions are good sized for the price you pay. Service is a bit slow and every once in a while they will forget an order. No problem, just reorder! The place is a buffet, so the slowness will help you pace yourself. As long as you're not in a rush it's a good place to go.
Parking in the area is hit-or-miss. Sometimes there's a lot. Other times you'll have to circle the block a few times.
You will waste of your money and time – Their service is horrible. Location is horrible. Even their food is horrible... Do not waste your money and time. You can spend little bit more money and can get very nice food. This restaurant doesnt deserve your money at all. They choose customers and do not treat customers in fair ways at all. They already charge tips on the first bill, but if you dont put extra tips then they will look at you as if you did something really bad.
