A hidden gem with imaginative cuisine in the heart of central Utah.. In Short The Salt Creek Steakhouse has a decidedly cabin-like atmosphere, with exposed logs on interior and exterior walls. Despite its spacious interior, there is little echo, and the booths provide a cozy dining space. Start off with the seafood sampler: a huge platter of shrimp scampi, crab cakes, macadamia-nut crusted halibut and blackened salmon. Winning entrees include baseball sirloin (as thick as it is round) and black and blue ahi, blackened tuna, seared and served rare.
