Casual diners form a line for traditional Chinese food served in record time. – In Short
Born from Chinese immigrant Charles Zhang's concept of fast, yet casual Chinese food, this family-friendly restaurant quickly became a popular lunch and dinner spot. Well-known Asian dishes like Mongolian beef and orange chicken are adapted to American tastes with increased soy and vinegar and reduced oils. The affordable and convenient meals reach all kinds of people, with free-standing and strip mall restaurants for sit-down dinners, as well as carry-out locations in food courts and supermarkets.
omg!!! pick up stix is NASTY – i went to pick up stix in porter ranch, to pick up a very large order. omg, the food was so nasty and gressy. i almost died. the orange chicken, tasted like i was eating fruit, and they love to add a bunch of unnessary to ur order. when u order chicken or any thing, they always mix together a bunch of unwanted things with it, so they can fill our plate up.
I was there tonight at 8:30 PM. There were three people ahead of me, order-wise. I waited 45 minutes for chicken with vegetables.
The place is tiny, so I was watching the cooks the whole time. Despite there being room on the grill, my food went on 25 minutes after I ordered it.
I love most Pick Up Stix. Avoid this one like the plague.
