Those who think of holograms as exuberantly cheesy high-tech curios will have most of those suspicions confirmed here.. In Short
While a few large-scale examples show something approaching wit, the majority are of the 3-D head-in-a-box variety, all of them petrified by those weird, sickly hologram colors. The kids might like it? Where else can you see a 12-inch Michael Jordan smile and pass a basketball around his midsection? Dozens of the holograms displayed are actually for sale, which tells you something right there.

Unique, different, kids will enjoy. This is only one of I believe only two museums of holography. It is an inexpensive fun place to go.
