Best karaoke bar – If you want cheap drinks and a good time, come here. The people are great. The singing is fun and it can always be dangerous! Be careful to come on a weekend because even though it's a roomy place, it definitely gets crowded!

Best Karaoke on the West Side – Forget the naysayers. If you love karaoke, you need to at least check it out.

Hopefully this finds some people who just love karaoke and will see the charm. Yes, it's busy on weekends, and you have to sign up early. No, the DJs aren't "biased." The bartenders are generous, and the drinks are far from overpriced. Every server there is on it.

The food is actually surprisingly great. Try the burger w/ swiss, bacon, mushrooms, and avocado. Tell me that isn't one of the best burgers you'll find in the area (or city for that matter).

Chubby rude waitress ruins any possibility of fun – Wow! I had no idea a karaoke bar waitress could be so rude. I'm talking about the chubby waitress with short hair and a tattoo on the back of her neck. Talk about a kunt! Visited this place for a friend's birthday and pulled a few chairs over to our friend's table when we arrived. We were planning on a long night of drinking, eating and karaoke. Chubby came over and yelled at my husband for moving the chairs to a different table. He said, "I asked the people at the table if they were using them and they said no so that's why I brought them over here." She replied, "They ARE using them." And he said, "No really, they said they are not." She got in his face and yelled, "YES, THEY ARE!" and proceeded to pull the chairs out from underneath us before we even got a chance to collect our things and stand up. Dumbfounded, I told another waitress what happened and she politely explained the way the bar works: those chairs were in Chubby's section and she gets to keep them there for people who want to sit in her section. Polite waitress seemed frustrated and not surprised, the poor thing. We stood awkwardly by the bar with people constantly brushing by us, had a few over priced and poorly mixed drinks, and once we saw the food they were bringing out to people we decided it was time to leave. The burgers looked disgusting. Oh, and by the way, there was old man sitting at the bar who was pitching a tent in his pants the whole time we were there. What fun! As far as the karaoke goes, we saw two regulars sing twice before anyone from our party got a chance to sing. I would not recommend this place for karaoke or anything else. Dear Chubby waitress--you're a waitress for goodness sake. You have no right to sling attitude!

Rude waitstaff, lame rules, and over priced drinks! – I have been to this place before and didn't have as bad a time as I had this time, but wasn't the greatest time either. When I got there I opened up a tab at the bar but had plans on sitting down on the other side of the bar when Karaoke started. I was with my friends and the waitress asked my friend if she had a tab open at the bar, she said no but my friend does. She told her in a VERY rude tone, well your friend needs to close that out and open one with me. My friend relayed this to me and I thought it was a joke! So then the waitress confronts me and tells me the same thing. Confused I asked, what is this two different establishments? In a huffy voice she said if you want to sit down you have to open a tab with me. The other thing I had a problem with was, at the bar my diet coke was 3.00 at the table it was 5.00 RIP OFF! Thats just like me going into a shoe store and seeing a pair of shoes for 10.00 on one side of the room and seeing the same exact pair on the other side for 20! The karaoke is a long wait, and he does take bribes, but I'd rather wait a long time than bribe him, that attitude makes me not want to tip him at all. Rather than push new comers up on the list a few spots he places them at the bottom, most other places will put them before people who have already sang. This place was once a decent place to go, but it is going downhill at full speed. I say stay away. Oh! one more gripe about the bad waitress: She took my friends jackets off their chairs and THREW them in the corner. SERIOUS!

This place rocked!!! – From the minute I walked in i knew this was a different brand of karaoke bar; the crowd was so diverse and aproachable! There wasn't just your usual teeny boppers. You had your young, your middle aged, and your diaper wearing geriatrics . of course there was also the ladies, which there is plenty of( karaoke IS and will always be the holy grail of women). you had your homely, hot, and of course your on the prowl cougars. Another interesting point I noticed was the "cheers" vibe, the bar was full of people and it seemed the bartenders new all of there names. Makes you kinda want to come more often just so that the cute little lady at the bar would talk to you too...hell any of the waitresses talking to you for that matter would be nice( this places staff is mighty good looking; I wouldn't kick any of them out of bed for eating crackers!) You don't have to be a great singer to go to this bar, you just have to know how to drink till the rock star in you comes out, and don't worry the crowd is always supportive! Go, you'll love it!

Come here with a group – This place seems to cater to large groups of people . . . however the energy is low. On a Saturday night the place was comfortably packed but no one was getting into the music. My husband and I got there early and were dissapointed to find that tables were only offered to groups of 4 or more. There was room at the bar so we parked there. The DJ mixed up the music well and the rotation was fair, (tips don't hurt). For some reason no one danced on the dance floor until 1:45am. I thought that was a fluke until I went back again and had a similar experience. The drinks are good but pricey. I loved the Miss packman game in the corner!

Took the "Happy" out of our "Happy Hour" – We went here for happy hour on a friday night and ended up leaving. Yes, the dollar off drinks was cool and the set up was nice. The staff was a little strange and confrontational. More to the point, they had a musician playing who played the slowest, lamest songs. He seriously played Joan Osborne's "One of us"... I like that song, but on a Friday night? At 7:00?!?!? We couldn't stand it. I am all about unwinding and relaxing on a friday after work, but this guy was putting us to sleep! LAME LAME LAME LAME!

Fun time, great for groups – It's a great place to get together with groups. Need a birthday spot? This is it. The wait to sing can be long, so get your song request in early.

Cool spot relax at. – I went there last Saturday with my girls on a busy nite but I still got to sing. I smoke and they have a lil patio at the door to accomdate that. And the regulars there really took care of me. I sang from my gut and heart It came out terrible but my heart was in it. And the support I got from the crowd was great. They didn't care my voice was wraspy from smoking too much or that I sang out of key but the passion I put behind it was supported. So on Wednesday 7/12/06 when I needed to get out of my world. I went to the Boardwalk by myself and had an even better time. Made great friends and had some good drinks and fumbled thru many songs. I love that place and can't wait till I get 20 bucks so Ican go back again

Sing w/ what your mama gave you – I visited this place for the first time w/ a group for a birthday party, and it was most enjoyable. By gosh, people were singing bad, singing good, and singing badly in groups, it was great. Just beware...it's a $10 cover or 2 drink minimum PER PERSON. Still, if you have a group looking for a night of embarassment, sign up now.
