Don't waste your time & money – We have waited for over 45 minutes (2nd time in the row) to get a haircut. When we raised the issue to a hair stylist and mentioned that we would like to get a complimentary service for the delay: we got a very rude service and haircut that normally takes 40 minutes took 10 minutes! No wash, no shampoo, and lousy cut... and no apologies. Service was done by Melissa. Both me and my wife were long time customers in the salon and did not expect such treatment. Instead of correcting the problem they made it worse. Needless to say that neither me, nor my wife do not plan to be back and need this rectified.
Dont upset the hair stylist by not going then going back to her – My headline says it all...otherwise you will regret it....Long story short, I went...then I stopped..Then I went back..big mistake...
Unimpressed, especially for the price – I went here only because my current hairdresser at another salon was on maternity leave, and a coworker gave me a coupon for this place. I went on a Friday night so granted it was very busy, but the salon was messy - I didn't see anyone sweeping hair off the floor, and my stylist's work area underneath her desk was just full of personal junk. I have straight hair and a very simple hairstyle (bangs and face framing layers that go up to my chin) and the stylist couldn't seem to cut the layers. In fact, they're slightly shorter on one side and when I pointed it out to her she insisted that they were fine. She also took an extremely long time blowdrying my hair, trying to get volume into it which was completely unnecessary. My current hairdresser is super fast and cuts my layers quickly and perfectly. And if I hadn't had the coupon the price would've been the same as the current place I go to. I wouldn't bother going to Dellaria again.
Great cut for a great price – I have been to many salons--even very expensive ones. I have to say that I got a really great cut here. I have been to other Dellaria salons and I can honestly say that I have never had a bad cut at any of them. They are trained constantly (part of the Dellaria system) and they are always up to date. The waiting room is small, but I have been to plently 'chic' salons that are fancy, but the cuts/color are terrible. I'd rather have a simple waiting room and a better cut and a better value. I would check it out--it is nice too because it is in the mall, so you can shop etc. and parking is never a problem. THey are also open Sundays.
dumpy salon – What a dump. I went in for a FIRST TIME cut and the girl that worked on me had globs of preperation h yes preperation h under her eyes. she told me this was for wrinkles..?? the waiting room was so cramped and the girls were yelling back and forth about their big weekend i cant believe that this is the dellaria salon everyone talks so highly about in my book its a 1
Great Haircut at Great Price – I was given a great haircut here at a price much lower than expensive salons in Boston. This cut was as good, if not better, than cuts I've had at much pricier salons. All the stylists here are very experienced & use top quality products. It's also very convenient for making last minute or evening appointments & parking is convenient. The only con is that the shop is small and waiting area is cramped - but that's no big deal when you are getting a great cut for a bargain price!
