Overpriced and Aggrivating – I?ve been to Delicious on several occasions, mostly against my will. The cafeteria style concept completely falls apart when the people taking your order do not speak English or cannot get the order right. It also doesn?t help when there is only one checkout person who is painfully slow and cannot handle the volume of people. Decor is supposed to be hip and modern (I think), but it just looks like a McDonalds with a different color scheme. The food is overpriced and of average quality. There are much better options in the area.
Cute subterranean cafe serves up fresh-made sandwiches, gourmet pizzas, and salads to a corporate River North crowd. – In Short
A fire-engine-red wall, plastic red chairs, exposed brick and stainless steel accents give this underground space a comfortable feel; high, ground-level windows let in lots of light. Customers place orders at the counter or grab a tray and head for the small, neat salad bar. The Italian-influenced menu offers appetizers like bruschetta and antipasto along with specialty sandwiches and fancy pizzas like the Dolce: barbecue sauce, chicken, red onions and fontinella and Asiago cheeses.
