Tips for Mi Tierra Mexican Restaurant
!MUY BUENO!. I've been going here for years and this is easily my favorite Mexican Restaurant East of California. The salsa (both of them) are delicious and the drinks are extremely reasonable and quite tasty. While I rarely stray away from the tacos (they are that good) everything I've tried on the menu has been awesome! Queso fundido appetizer is delicious, fajitas are great, shrimp and rice dish is a favorite... Friendly staff and a large restaurant are just two more things that make this place great!
Great food and atmosphere. My favorite family restaurant anywhere. I started going to the original on Kedzie near 26th street in Chicago since i was a kid, the food and atmosphere are better at the original, but this is definitely the best in the suburbs. The parilladas are great if you have a large group (a mix of meats and vegetables on a griddle with its own sterno to keep it hot). I love the camarones al mojo de ajo (shrimp in a garlic butter) or the carne asada (grilled steaks). I've taken people from all across the country and have never been disappointed.
Need more tequila.....
This place is not my favorite at all, they have tough meat and I like tenderloin, awesome bistec only go here if you really have no other choice but your taste buds will not be satisfied.
Margaritas need more tequila!

WOW. Our family dines here at least once a week. The food and the margaritas are always outstanding. The wait staff are very helpful and knowledgable. Other diners have become friends over the years. Very friendly atmosphere, if at times a little noisy.
