Hello everyone, this is on behalf of Bridal Mansion of Lisle. We have read the reviews and complaints and sincerely apologize to everyone who has had a bad experience with our company in the past. We have recently come under new ownership and have been tying up loose ends and taking care of preexisting problems and issues. We are pleased to announce that all problems have been taken care of, with retraining of employees, a close watch of all pre existing orders and new ones, and elevated customer satisfaction. We ask you to not let previous mistakes that were not in our new owners control to sway your decision of coming in to see us, we are more than happy and willing to help you with any of your needs, if you give us another chance. SCAMMERS – If I could give this place 0 stars I would. This business should be closed down for their lack of honesty, reliability and fraudulent actions. I was having the hardest time trying to decide between 2 different Casablanca dresses. I liked the top of one dress and the bottom of another dress. With that being said, Jen the sales associate (side note-please don't buy her empty words and fake kindness) assured me that Casablanca Bridal could customize any dress and would definitely be able to combine the 2 dresses to make "THE PERFECT DRESS." After seeing the two dresses together (we arranged them on the floor to get an idea of what the final product would look like) I had that wonderful "this is the dress" moment! I agreed to pay upfront for the more expensive of the 2 dresses and pay an additional fee for all the customizations once the dress was in. I had tried on both sample dresses, which were size 14, and neither fit. After being measured I tried on a 16 and it fit perfectly! Jen, however, wanted me to order an 18 and when I disagreed she patted me on the back and told me to lose 15lbs before the dress arrived (WONDERFUL way to speak to your paying customers). With the nasty comment aside I went ahead and ordered the custom, size 16, dress! I was told the dress would arrive Dec. 2nd. I was a little nervous with my wedding being on Jan. 28th and the holidays right in between, so I offered to pay extra for it to be rushed. Jen assured me that it wasn't necessary and they would definitely have it by Dec. 2nd. Being naive, I ate up every word that this sales associate had to say. Let's cut to Dec. 22nd, still no dress, numerous calls into the store and very frustrated. THE REVIEWS BELOW ARE TRUE-they do not answer certain calls if they begin to recognize your number (I eventually saw this happen while I was in the store) and if you do finally speak with someone they say they can not help you and you will need to speak with the owner Jane (quite possibly the worst person in the wedding industry EVER). FINALLY, on Dec. 23rd I received a call from Jane who told me my dress would be arriving the following Wednesday (Dec. 28 - 26 days later than I was promised).?Now here comes the good part! I go and pick up the dress and it is COMPLETELY wrong. I will start with the fact that the dress itself is not custom made, it is all completely 1 style (not the 2 styles combined). Okay so if getting the wrong dress isn't bad enough, the dress is filthy dirty at the bottom (unless they are now making brown colored lace trim), the satin on the top is snagged and pulled with the stitching literally falling out and there is make-up on the inside and sweat marks on the outside. For the price I paid, I was at least hoping for a clean dress! If that wasn't bad enough, the dress itself zipped but was very VERY tight. Now, you may be thinking I gained weight...BUT funny enough I took Jens advice and lost 15lbs and then some...16.4lbs total to be exact. So one might ask how a dress fits you when you are 16.4lbs heavier and then barely fits when you 16.4lbs lighter? Well the answer is plain and simple; Bridal Mansion literally CUT a size 16 tag out of another dress and GLUED it into the dress they gave me (you would think they would try and do a better job of hiding their handy work). By the way, the dress size that they cut out of this dress was a size 14. YEP you guessed it! They packaged up the sample dress I tried on back in July and tried to play it off like it was a custom dress I ordered FRAUD FRAUD FRAUD!! When this was brought to their attention all the store did was offer to have their seamstress put together THE OTHER size 14 sample dress with the current sample dress I had and STILL charge me for it.

Very Rude – I went to this shop despite hearing bad things about it because they had a specific dress I wanted to try. I wasn't planning on purchasing anything because of the bad things I had heard, but I left wanting to spread the word about how horrible my experience was! I didn't give much heed to some of the online reviews because I know good experiences tend to go unnoticed, but wow was this place horrible.

My first sign that the experience was going to be bad came before even arriving at the store due to a phone call. Shortly after arrival, the woman was outwardly annoyed at the fact that my mom and maid of honor were looking at the bridesmaids dresses while she was wanting us to focus solely on the bridal gowns. She repeatedly tried to tell them that they should not bother with the bridesmaid dresses yet and let her help them when she was done helping me. They were simply browsing and did not require help, but she was so insistent that it made me immediately uncomfortable.

I am not the type who wants a lot of attention and am not picky but left so offended and annoyed. The woman who helped us, who I can tell must be the owner based on the descriptions I read by other brides, was incredibly rude. I felt like I was unable to tell her that I didn't like a dress because she was so intimidating. She was very condescending, and the people I was with told me afterwards that she was rolling her eyes at me when I would mention not liking a feature of a dress. She was EXTREMELY forceful and tried to push a variety of things on me despite me specifically telling her I did not want them. I told her I didn't want a veil and she stuck one on my head repeatedly. I could not wait to leave in the end and will most certainly never return. All of the bad reviews I have ready previously to mine are very similar to the experience I had!
