Going out of business..... I just found out that Sole is going out of business on Oct 30...too bad, I always had great food, and GREAT Tes Leches for dessert when I dined here.

The good news is Zen Asian Fusion will be offering some of their menu items (sister restaurant) so hit them up if you still need a taste of Sole.....

Sol Spanish Grille is fantastic. Great Spanish food and atmosphere. A comfortable place to dine. On weekends ask for Neil as your waiter. He is from Chile and is one of the most attentive, polite, and knowledgeable waiters that will ever wait on you.

A cool place. This place reminds me of restaurants in Barcelona. It's small and quaint, where all the locals go. We order tapas and sangria when we're there. Yummy! The service staff is personable and professional. Definitely a place to chill with family or friends.

Not Spanish Food. If you are looking for Spanish food, this is not it! They lie about using authentic ingredients imported from Spain. The food was salty and tomato-based dishes had the same taste. Don't waste your money!

Excellent Food, Excellent Service!!!!. My best friend took my husband and I out for dinner this past Sat night and my husband did some research and choose Sole. He is very choosy so I was so hoping that he would be happy. Happy is not the word for how he felt about his experience. He wanted to order another entree after his dinner becuase he wanted to try everything! Needless to say he just ordered another appetizer even after dinner with appetizers! Our servicer, Neil was so awesome and the host was more than accomodating!This is now our favorite place and we cannot wait until spring so we can sit on the patio. Oh forgot to say that my friend and I totally agree with my husband ! EXCELLENT!

Fantastic Spanish Food. If you are looking for Spanish cuisine in Charlotte, look no further. My specialty is Spanish/Cuban cuisine and this restaurant his the mark. The Paella is fantastic and the wine selection is superb. The owners do a fine job training the wait staff as ours was extremely knowledgeable about each dish.

They are a little pricey, but well worth it. Save room for one of the decadent desserts!

Service is average' food is uninspiring. The service was average and slow, yet the "host" had the nerve to ask us to vacate the table last night! After he insulted us, he offered a free cocktail at the bar. We had just spent $45 each for dinner. This is NOT Spanish food. It is a mix of Culinary school inspired-Asian immersion. I wish I was a food critic, for I would have "seared" their pompous behinds.

Great Food!. The tapas are excellant! The entrees are excellant! We had reservations for a Friday night and it wasn't over crowded. The service was great and the servers were very knowledgable. Would definitely make a trip back!

This small eatery has a casual chic decor that gives it a hip-yet-cozy feeling. A constant hustle and bustle speaks to its popularity. Attentive and knowledgeable servers go out of their way to make your experience special.

The Food
The menu offers an array of traditional Spanish tapas as well as various Spanish and Mediterranean entrees. Sample the jumbo shrimp sauteed in fresh garlic, olive oil and a tasty Spanish paprika, or share the roasted peppers stuffed with spinach and goat cheese, a delightful combination of textures and flavors. Seafood dominates entree selections, but meat lovers should sample the grilled New York strip steak, topped with Cabrales, a Spanish version of blue cheese. Be sure to save room for delectable desserts like the traditional, award-winning Tres Leches, a
moist, rich, unique cake made with three milks--condensed, evaporated and whole.

Great tapas and Ambience !. This is one of my favorite spot for spanish food.

Sole brings real flavors of spains with a complete tapas menu and a well selected wine list. Tapas are flavorfull, served very fast ( just as a tapas should be ) and well priced.

Athmosphere is pleasant and the service as it should be.
