Best brunch in the city. If you haven't heard, Yumm is serving brunch on Saturdays and Sundays. My husband and I lived in Manhattan for awhile and Sunday brunch is an institution there that we participated in as often as we could. We miss it - and here it is! Perfectly cooked, well-seasoned California eggs benedict, amazing breakfast burrito, mimosas, amazing stuffed french toast (split it - very rich) and great service. Go now and go often - tremendous.
Excellent food. My husband and I eat here several times a year and we have always enjoyed the food. The wine list could use some help and red wines are served far too warm, room temperature does not mean lukewarm. There is not much in the way of cloth or items to dampen the sound so if the restaurant is crowded it can be quite noisy. But overall, Oh Yumm is a charming small bistro with very good food at a reasonable price and outstanding service.
One of few in Indy. This kind of place is few and far between in Indianapolis. Clearly a locally owned small operation, that provides very good food, very good service, excellent atmosphere and a chance to visit someplace that isn't cropping up in every popular suburban area, how refreshing. I would suggest reservations, and drinks are limited to wine, a few bottled beers (good choices though), and the usual non-alcoholic offerings. It is a bit pricey for Indy, but offers enough to make it a good value for a nice occasion.
