WORST HAIR EXPERIENCE EVER! – never go to Robin at the hair cuttery on halsted. i went in to get the "city lights" which included a full foil highlight and a cut, dry, and leave in treatment. After consulting with me, she told me that my previous hairstylis had been doing my hair all wrong and that "not to worry, she was the best colorist in the city". YEAH RIGHT. After taking multiple breaks to talk on her phone, smoke cigarettes and be a complete brat to me, she put foils in totally wrong and i came out with streaky tiget stripe looking lines on the side of my head. She acted like i was wasting her time and i swear she was messed up on something. When she shampooed my hair, her nails dug into my scalp i thought it was going to start bleeding. I couldnt wait to get out of there, but too bad she doesnt know how to do a blowout and she blew dry my curly hair with a flat brush and refused to flat iron it unless I gave her $15 more dollars. This salon was a DIRTY AND GROSS (just like her) and very poorly run and i have never been told that I would be charged extra for a flat iron job on my hair... that is part of the haircut you idiots. I left finally after 3 and a half hours after telling her over and over that i had a bus to catch. Never go to her, she will mess up your hair and shes a complete rude brat and should never have even been hired.
