Never buy their coupons! – I have never seen a nastier greedier bunch of wanna be hair dressers in my life. The owner must have gotten these girls right out of beauty school. There sense of style is right out of the worst possible beauty school. I could loose my lunch!
A friend of mine bought me one of their coupons, Free hair cut? I had to pay 100 dollars to have it fixed! Do not let anyone you know go here!
Really! Like we dont know that your salon employees are writing posting to your own Favor.RREALLY! – I didnt realize until now that there was such a sick self serving type of creepy form of life till I went into this snake hole salon. The owner is a predjudiced cow herder. She has a set of Cows(stylists) that she drains of every drop of milk she can for the least amount of feed(pay) that could possibly be fed(paid). Then when she decides she wants more milk she just puts another whole on the udder to get more milk! The treatment that I felt when I was in this filthy salon was terrible. I know for a fact that every good posting on here was done by either the Owners or employees. While I was being serviced I saw three out of four patrons completely recked over I dont know how the stylists that were doing them convince one except she was just too intimidated to say something. The card that I was almost forced to buy in hopes not to be hounded every morning on my way to work by these sexually charged harassers, was obviously a ploy to have me take such full advantage of the stylist that I was with. My hair turned out so boring and old fashioned I am wearing a hat until it grows out. The three sales men/boys told me that if I want I dont have to ever pay more than there card charge if I stay in touch with them personally, I can get free hair for at least 4 years. by just purchasing another, and going to another salon. I have always paid premium price for premium work on my hair.. I thought this was a good deal until I saw the nasty corruption involved. The card company and all the salons involved in this SCAMM really should be BOYCOTTED! I have never been so disgusted and disapointed in how a salon owner can be as I have been now by Segovia Salon.
Fantastic experience! – My mom and I went in on SalonSensation's introductory cards about a week ago, to get our hair done. I have to say that the SalonSensation's search engine helped me find what I was looking for and at the same time, get a great deal!
My mom was getting a blowout and I needed color and a cut. Anthony is a new stylist/colorist/make-up artist at the salon and my appointment was with him. He was super friendly, accommodating and very creative. The cut and color I received is the best I've ever gotten. My mom's stylist was Stacey and she was awesome. After our hair was finished, we also got our make-up done by Anthony. Looking as gorgeous as ever, we can't wait for our next visit!!
My Stylist was wonderful! – I Also bought one of those promo packages which i think are fantastic. I went there yesterday to get highlights and a haircut and i absolutely love it!! My stylist was so sweet and attentive. She was hip and stylish and very smart. She informed me of everything i asked and gave me tips to style my hair. Her name is hard to say,but i loved her and i will defintely go back to her! I did notice little things like towels and it was chilly inside but she defintely made it worth my trip and gave me tea to keep warm, Thank you so much! i had a delightful experience!
A wonderful salon!! – I recommend this salon to anyone. I went on a friday and had a grate experience. The people where very friendly. I brought a promo card and of course with everything you buy especially for the price you can't expect the world. They did everything I asked for. Maybe people need to learn how to ask for what they truly want, like bring a picture and explaining yourself correctly and not be so judgemental on thing that don't even matter like towels or paint chipping. Over all they did a wonderful job, and the aveda products are a plus.
Great haircut – I took part in the promotion last summer and have been very happy since. I got a free hair cut, deep treatment, and my second cut was half off. My stylist was excellent and I took two friends with me for half off hair cuts. I didn't find them to be snobby at all, though the receptionist is not so friendly. Most of all I was happy to find a great stylist who is good at cutting curly hair, because that's really hard to find. The ambience is cute and relaxing, and they even offer you tea. I was a bit skeptical when I first signed up for the promotion, but I'm so glad I did. I think it was a great deal for $55.
don't be fooled – When we were approached on a street in a hipster neighborhood with the opportunity to partake of a special offer at a "world class" salon, we were optimistic. Turns out, the "gift card" we received, that cost us $55 a piece but guaranteed us a haircut, plus a variety of other "services," was worded rather loosely. The scalp massage lasted about 30 seconds and although I was quite verbal about the haircut I wanted and didn't want, and even stopped the stylist halfway to reiterate, I ended up with a cut that I hate. Basically, this is a low end salon (two of the hair dressers had less than 4 years of experience) masquerading in a pretty hip salon layout, but it's the details that will tip you off- peeling paint, bleach stained towels, no one seems to be in charge or want to take charge. To their credit, everyone was nice, but not friendly; I didn't exactly feel comfortable there. My husband, who also received a haircut, was equally skeptical; for him it was all over when his hairdresser broke out the razor sheers for "taking out some bulk" and never went back to the regular sheers. Would I go back? No. Would I recommend this to a friend? No. They mean well, but they need to be more honest in their advertising and lower their prices to more accurately reflect the quality that they can provide.
Terrible place. – Segovia Salon is a lower-end salon. It boasts that it's an "Aveda concept salon", but it's just a shabby salon that sells some Aveda products. You might as well go to SuperCuts. I recently tried this place and was extremely disappointed. I was very clear that I wanted to keep my current style, but just wanted to neaten it up. However, the stylist proceeded to cut way more off than I requested and he completely changed the style. He did not listen to me at all. To make matters worse, he barely spoke English. Do not go to this salon unless you like ending up with a style you didn't ask for.
Truly amazing AVEDA concept salon – My experience at this salon was phenomenal. My stylist was very professional and courteous. I've been to other salons and did not get the cut I wanted, but the consultaion was very helpful. They did exactly what I wanted. The environment was very unique since the salon used to be a bar. Since i've gone i've gotten so many compliments about my hair. If your looking for a great salon and spa you will not need to look any further.
Average Salon – I got my hair cut and colored and it was average... nothing spectacular but not bad. Moi was friendly-enough. Parking was pretty easy too. The salon used to be a bar and a restaurant so it is unique. Only 3 stylists work there.
