Allergic to something? Don't eat here. – I've gone here for years, sticking to the salad bar and soups. But today, I ordered a sandwich "no bacon." (I don't eat pork for religious reasons, plus I'm pregnant so can't eat processed meats -- e.g., turkey bacon, hot dogs, deli meats -- unless they've been nuked.) I got my sandwich, and it had bacon on it.
No biggie, so I took it back to the counter and asked them to please make me a new one. I sat there for about 3-5 minutes waiting for my new sandwich. I ate the first half and then noticed on the second half that there were bacon remnants on it; they had never made a "new" one and had instead just yanked off the bacon. (Thanks, Jason's Deli -- I could have done that myself.)
I demanded a refund from the manager, who said "oh, yeah, I see they left some on there." While I was explaining to her why restaurants can't just pull out the offending ingredient--giving examples like religious convictions, allergies, and "the long list of sh*t that pregnant women can't eat"--she interrupted me with "I don't appreciate you cussing at me." She barely apologized for what the restaurant did and instead turned it on me -- harping on my casual use of what she called the "s-h" word. SERIOUSLY?
Never going back.
Always Reliable – Jasons has really good salad bar - no question about it.
I really like the ginger bread muffins - delicious.
Sandwiches have a lot of meat on them, but it doesn't seem to be the best quality - think Boars Head.
The kids menu is a deal...you can't go wrong if you have kids.
If you want food for yourself or 1 other...do not order delivery, by the time you add everything in....walk or get in your car and get it yourself. Okay, if you have a bunch of people ordering.
Overall....guaranteed to be acceptable - always.
